Gear and Stat Information
Primary Stat/Armor Type: Agility, Mail
Secondary stat priorities
Haste = Mastery > Agility > Versatility > Critical Strike
Enhancement has no strict caps on any stats that could ever be reached in current gear. Haste and Mastery can both switch positions as the best stat dependant on other items you currently have equipped, but there is no strict ratio to maintain.
Critical Strike: Chance for extra effectiveness on attacks and heals.
Haste: Increases attack speed, reduces the Global Cooldown and the cooldown of
Mastery: Increases the effectiveness of
특화: 원소 강화
Versatility: Increases damage and healing, and reduces damage taken
As covered in the Artifact page,
serves as the best relic, but various other traits are appealing as specific relic choices, otherwise item level is your ideal goal. Some examples of where these can be found in the following places:
연기 나는 엄지나사
정화의 점화 촉매
불 붙지 않는 잿불
고위 식물학자 텔아른
마력 깃든 껍질 조각
사자머리 옷깃 죔쇠띠
반응성 수정 껍질
끌로 깎은 별빛
모래바람 맞은 고둥
타락한 왕 이미론
완전무결한 싹쓸바람 진주
Extends the duration of
and similar effects by 75%. Appears currently to be the best option in all situations, but is not a massive swing in general. As long as you can maintain uptime on a target for the full 70 seconds it will perform well due to how well Enhancement interacts with the Bloodlust effect.
에말론의 충전된 핵
You deal a flat 10% increased damage if
hits 3 or more targets. Buff is easy to fulfill if 3 targets are within range
is in the rotation regardless and will be hitting them all. In any situation where you can consistently keep this buff active, it serves as the best choice and is our best multi target Legendary.
아카이누의 확실한 정의 실현
50% increase to
are both active. The 7.2 buff to this item has brought it back into favour and requires using
to activate it, as the increase will be more than the talent loss. With the new golden trait in 7.2, this is a very powerful single target option assuming accompanying legendaries and talents.
Gain 5% movement speed for 1 minute each time you kill an enemy, stacking up to 5 times. At 5 stacks you transform into a Spirit Owl, allowing you to fly for 1 minute. This is an open world effect which hasn't really got any group content applications, but it does come with ideal stats and 3 prismatic sockets, making it a great stat stick option, and is easier to acquire as it is a crafted option.
Enemies hit by
zap a nearby enemy every second for low nature damage for 15 sec. In 2 target situations is the reasonable choice as long as you can maintain the debuff on both targets simultaneously, and there will be 2 targets available for more than 75% of the time. This effectively makes taking the
talent mandatory to give additional uses. At 3 targets however, this falls off quickly compared to the chest due to the micro-management of maintaining 3 debuffs, and at 4 is noticeably worse.
recharges 500% faster. Great in solo content and will be very good in situations where you need increased uses of your burst CDs. Whilst it has downsides to meet the activation requirement, situations in which it shines are very favourable. It has a lot of applications in content that has frequent downtime (e.g. moving between packs during Dungeons/Mythic+) so should not be written off. These have also had 617 Haste added to their item budget with 7.2, which makes them more appealing as an added bonus effect if you can capitalise on the cooldown reduction.
뒤틀린 황천의 눈
Dealing damage with Fire, Frost or Nature abilities grants separate, stacking 1.5% damage increase buffs. Much like the bracers, this heavily encourages taking
as you will be maintaining your
effect to get all 3 buffs. With Akainu's being brought up, if using both you can now effectively trigger all 3 buffs providing legendary synergy between these two items.
프라이다즈 - 사바릭의 최고 걸작
Grants an absorb shield for 25% of your maximum health for 30 seconds, with a 30 second internal cooldown. Can increase personal survivability significantly allowing you to avoid high damage periods, and also comes loaded with significantly more secondaries than alternatives making it a solid equip due to this alone.
Standing still heals you for 4% of your maximum health every 1 seconds. This has very few uses, if any, as in all types of content being a melee specialisation, but it can provide a small amount of extra survivability. This is definitely selected for the stat boosts it provides however due to how well itemised it is.
Successfully crowd controlling, interrupting or dispelling a target grants you 70% increased movement speed and 25% haste for 10 seconds, but may only occur every 30 seconds. This effect is extremely powerful due to Haste being very valuable for Enhancement. In situations where this can be activated, it will provide a significant increase so should be used if so as it provides a short term mini-
. In dungeons and Mythic+ this is very easy to do making it an excellent choice, in raids it will require some foresight to make use of. With the addition of 2% passive Haste going into 7.2, this is now a solid option just as a stat stick even if you cannot activate it.
킬제덴의 불타는 소원
A powerful stat stick trinket with a high budget, that comes with a 1.15-minute cooldown on use AoE burst. This does not scale with any secondaries, but in situations where additional burst AoE is needed (such as Mythic+) it is very powerful as that is an area Enhancement is lacking in. Given that it takes up a valuable trinket slot to do so however, means that it needs situations to play into it to make it worth using.
Newly added in 7.2.5, a fantastic all around legendary and generally the best option at all times. The power of the new
effect in this patch makes this a great addition to the rotation and increases the value of Maelstrom to boot. Also scales up well in AoE by allowing for a chain of
Another addition in 7.2.5, granting you the
when equipped, allowing for another choice on the level 75 tier. This is relegated to a single target choice using
and can be powerful in some cases, but can be outclassed by other combinations due to how specific its effect is.
Due to the introduction of Warforging and Titanforging and how common it is, actually setting up a consistent recommendation is difficult, so all of the evaluation has been done assuming trinkets are of an equal item level. The recommendations below are for trinkets of particular importance that have the greatest impact.
피에 굶주린 본능
실체 없는 단지
타락한 왕 이미론
Tomb of Sargeras options have a lot of caveats, and as such the only real recommendation is picking up
as it has the smallest downside when using, due to the orbs spawning very close.
reduces the cooldown of Feral Spirit by up to 50%, which is incredibly strong for many encounters and in AoE situations, and remains a useful option in fights you can capitalise upon.
피에 굶주린 본능
has the bonus effect of syncing well with any alternate trinkets due to the power of Haste as a stat, if they line up well together, alongside having exceptional uptime. Other trinkets listed are all also great alternatives, each of which having solid upsides to using, so using any combination of these will fill out trinket slots nicely for general use as long as they have similar item level.
As with trinkets, this is more a general recommendation of items to look out for. The Titanforging system has made it nearly impossible to predict gear values because of the possible range of stats they can have upon them. In a majority of situations item level increases are going to outweigh stat balances, but be aware you are ideally looking for as much Mastery and Haste as you can get your hands on. I have tried to err on the side of as many raid items (due to their naturally higher item level) as possible, unless there are no favorable stat combinations in that slot, at which point dungeon gear or older raid gear has to suffice that will require some item level luck.

Tier 19 Set Bonuses
Tier 19 has been changed in 7.2.5, but still focus on
, increasing both the power of the abilities and the frequency in which it occurs. They are both useful in the realm of Nighthold content, but don't extend well into Tomb of Sargeras compared to new gear and the Titanforging requirement to keep them relevant.

Both of these bonuses lean into taking
as a talent, and also enhance the power of your filler spell
by giving it a significantly increased chance to trigger a proc. There is not much to really play around with either of these bonuses as they mostly enhance the toolkit passively, making procs more consistent and encouraging spending more. Whilst maintaining the bonus in current content is good, leading into the release of the new raid, is not worth actively trying to maintain because of how rare high Titanforging is on gear.
Tier 20 Set Bonuses
Tier 20 focuses very heavily on AoE, increasing the value of your
casts by granting a maintenance buff (extending its use into single target), and providing a viable burst AoE option with the 4pc bonus.
아이템 - 주술사 T20 정기 2P 보너스
grants 5% Critical Strike chance when
is cast for 16 seconds.
아이템 - 주술사 T20 고양 4P 보너스
to increase the direct damage of your next
by 35%, stacking up to 15 times.
Whilst this bonus is generally quite average in single target, adding in another buff to maintain without anything flashy, it excels in AoE. The 4pc bonus scales up linearly with additional targets, and fills a hole we are otherwise lacking in predictable AoE burst. Given how well itemised the pieces are, and the potential applications of the bonus, it's advised to always use this if you can get hold of it.
Finding Gear on Wowhead
From simple recommendations to advanced filters, Wowhead can help you find the gear you want.
is a great way to search for gear if you are new to Wowhead's filtering system.
Choose what item category, gear slot, and class specialization you're interested in, and it will return results for you. You can further narrow it down by source--including gear from LFR and heroic dungeons.
You can find the Item Finder via Tools > Item Finder or Database > Items > Item Finder.
returns personalized gear suggestions for you and shows which content has the most upgrades.
Simply load up the
with you preferred character and it will list gear recommendations in a 20 ilvl range for you. It will also list how many gear upgrades each boss has so you can plan out bonus rolls. Finally, the character planner will perform an audit and let you know if you have any missing enchants, glyphs, or gems.
If you have a character in our
which is great for tracking vanity collections and viewing your character in our 3D modelviewer, you can click on the "Planner" button in the header to access the tool. If you don't, you can just enter your information in at Tools > Character Planner.
Wowhead utilizes a powerful system of item filters to narrow down the gear you need.
, you can enter in some basic options at the top--the name of the item, its item level, the level the players needs to be. The "Usable by" dropdowns cover factions, class, and role.
The dropdown menu right above "Stat Weights" opens to display a variety of advanced options. These cover the following:
General item info such as Added in Expansion/Patch, BoE/BoP, Unique-Equipped, Class-Specific.
Stats: All primary stats, secondary stats, defensive stats, and weapon stats.
Source: All in-game sources, ranging from raid difficulties to the Black Market Auction House to sold by a vendor.
Miscellaneous: Many of these filters are not relevant to equippable gear such as Crafting Reagents and Toys, but you can filter for items that are currently obtainable.
Once you've selected a filter from the menu, click on Apply filter for search results. You can repeat the process to filter for multiple criteria at once--for example, Agility gear that is found in Mythic Foundry.
Over on the right-hand side of the page, you can select a particular Gear Slot or Quality to narrow results even further.
Finally, you can quickly view a subset of items at once using the Database Menus. Head to Database > Items and mouseover the Weapon and Armor options for quick links to gear arranged by armor type and slot.
