Is anyone able to attain 100% success chance on this mission?

...am I missing something? Is there some reason I got this mission long before I've even upgraded my shipyard enough to build a carrier?

I'm really sorry if this comment sounds ignorant in some way, but... wouldn't most people have already facerolled their way through LFR by the time they even get to the point where they can build a carrier, as to do all this to win an LFR-quality gear item...?

There seem to be a number of things wrong with this entire mission. I think Blizzard left a number of PTR missions in game when Warlords went live. Problem is, they revamped the Racial Buffs you get from your crews so these missions with 5 abilities to counter become very difficult without those extra counters.

Not only that, but I think WowHead is confusing the issue further. This page says it is a 2 day mission. I have this mission right now and it clearly says 4 hours on my Operations map. There will be no help to complete this one from my Panda Crew.

Being at ilvl 686 atm I don't need very many LFR pieces of gear. If it was binds to account and not on pickup it might be worth risking a ship. :(

Well something different is happening now, check the latest screenshot of this mission... because there is an extra icon above the "hell Storm" as you can see, the iron piercing shell, this comes with something that "encounters battleships". Salty Jorren doesn't sell it, so I image its a quest item or acquired elsewhere. I was wondering if someone else has found this and where I can get it
