I'd have to agree, terribly. I have a hectic, unpredictable work schedule and a ton of other stuff to do. However, I LOVE raiding and I just can't find the time to do it due to said schedule. If I could, in theory, get a hardcore/legendary mode of heroics, I'd be one happy camper. It'd be cool if they did it like D2 where the dungeon (and rewards) scaled to your level (or in this case, relative gearscore, or whatever).

I think a lot of the demand for super-heroic 5-mans will slack off, once the Raid Finder gets up and running. Currently, the Dungeon Finder does an excellent job of matching up groups that can race through heroic 5-mans (e.g. holding an undergeared healer in queue until a tank with 40K hp comes along), and if the Raid Finder works the same way, you will start to see a lot of people running the 10-man content, as they learn the fights while running with more experienced folks. (We may also see more 'short' raids, so that people can clear in less than two hours.)
Its pretty crazy seeing stuff about needing a HC mode for the HC mode.
I hated Days of Ruin. It took a wrong turn at the "Gritty realism" junction, and didn't even include a hard campaign.
Heroics really shouldn't be easy, if people need to learn certain parts of playing a class, dealing with a mechanic, etcwhatever there's oh, i don't know the REGULAR version of the dungeon which is easier. Heroics ARE the hard mode, yet obviously they are too easy. The thing is, they weren't back at release, they were actually somewhat alright (although by no means challenging) in that they weren't quite braindead and you still needed to pay good attention. Now, so many patches later, changes have still made everyone scale to levels of power much larger than what makes sense for a couple content patches (or in the case of tbc and wotlk, a ten level expansion pack). So the old content is basically way way way braindead for anyone at current average gear levels. This wasnt noticable back in tbc because you were only some smaller proportion stronger a couple patches later than you were at release, but if you look at things like attack/spell power numbers and health levels and other similar stats back on WOTLK release and now, there is a huuuuge difference. Cata obv hasnt dropped so the old content (current wotlk heroics) is still being done because people cant just level past it to 85.If you look at recent heroics, i.e. heroic frozen halls, they aren't at all braindead even with a full set of gear that's only one tier behind the latest. Take a 5-man outfitted all in t9, 5.1k gs, throw them into heroic halls of reflection, and see how well they do it mindlessly at 4 or 5am in the morning without sleep. probably not well at all.
