Do like. :D
Hordies will remember "The Elixir of Suffering" chain in Hillsbrad when the Creeper Ichor had an abysmal drop rate. I had a friend farm for that ichor for almost two weeks before it dropped.Kids these days and their progressive quest loot drop percentages.
Thank you guys very much for this. R.I.P. old old world... thou shalt be missed... oh the memories...
This is going to be really nice farther down the road :D

We were not prepared ! (for the Shattering)
I like now for the most part you don't have to kill a one and million of something to get four obviously abundant parts. (ie Zherva Hooves or Cougar Livers). The thing I remember the most even if it was a pain where the Buzzboxes in Darkshore I leveled there many a time. I liked it because it was the closest you got to the new quest turn in feature some quests have. The drop rates still sucked though.
Awesome, perfect to reminisce about places via Zones and screenshots! Cool for those who've played since the beginning!
Wowhead, this is one of the coolest things you've ever done. Yeah, it's just a game, but the STORIES that are told in it can be amazing. So many of the old lore quests were removed when the world moved on, and some folks will never get to do them. At least they can read about them now... and we can reminisce about them. Specifically, I am going to miss the Scythe of Elune questline... it helps to explain why the Night Elves offered their assistance to the Gilneans. I haven't seen if the Pamela Redpath quests are still in EPL, but I hope Darrowshire is still there the way it was. That was, hands down, the only questline in the game that made my eyes fill with tears every time I did it. I still have the "Tea with Sugar" she gave my hunter when I completed the questline and helped that little girl find peace.EDIT: now that I did a little digging, even though there is a flight point and camp at the cemetery now and Jitters doesn't seem as duplicitous, it appears the Scythe quest IS still in the game... can anyone confirm? That'd be freaking awesome if it wasn't yanked...
The Shattering was merely a setback ...
I'm so happy you did this. I was hoping you would. Really really hoping. Much love. <3
Sweet.That's awesome.
I think it's great to have this old database, just to remember how was the world, plus some epic chain quest in the Barrens and in Thousand needles. Also to remember NPCs that died in the Cataclysm (Dadanga <3)
Thank you! This is going to be very useful for sorting out some of the changes!
Alterac Valley matches that would last a week.
