Way to devalue the accomplishment of getting a rare drop.
I have a pretty impressive collection of mounts and pets, some of which are no longer available, some of which are TCG items I had to buy off Amazon (nothing too expensive, but I did pay for some), some of which took days of my life in runs. I am completely fine with this. The amount of money you have to farm for these items, per item, when people start bidding wars, will be pretty time consuming and impressive as well. There is no guarantee on the frequency with which each item will appear, so it will still be a rare "drop" on the AH most likely. This isn't going to cause a huge influx of the rarer items- I'd almost guarantee it.

It may just be me, but I think the BMAH is dumb. People who love the game and love to raid, like me. Would not want to see heroic gear on there for people who don't raid or who don't play very well have the gear that we as raiders grind every week to get. The pets are cool but prices are way to high. I spend my gold on gems, encants, and raid stuff. So i don't have 10k gold to spit out for crap mounts and pets they should start them low and see where it ends up. Thats just me and i know people will think I'm stupid, but i had to put my 2 cents worth in it lol. fyi blizzard hurry the hell up with wow 4 months is to long of a wait for mop cata is old to old. :)
I'm wondering if they are going to distinguish the mounts that were bought from the mounts that were obtained the normal way. Like have the feat of strength have a different mark if you paid gold for an ashes of alar on the BMAH.
you have a typo there, it says:Lord Aurius Rivendare, Scholomancebut he s definitely in stratholme :)Or is he going to move in MoP?
As long as these remain BoP, or at most are changed to BoA, I really don't see this as being a problem. All this does is give players another option for farming, it doesn't create farming in the first place. For example, Ashes of Al'ar is a one in fifty drop from a raid. The fight is hard enough that even with geared 90 characters it will likely take a two or three person group to farm. my current guild has trouble with this fight with 8-9 characters, although half of those are low-geared casual players. So, best case scenario, you'd need to run this dungeon 100+ times with friends to reasonably get the mount.Even if it sells for a couple of hundred thousand gold, that just gives you a choice of what to farm. You can farm the raid, or you can farm gold. Both take time, both get boring after the thousandth time, the difference is that at least with gold farming you have the option of change. You can farm old dungeons, crafting nodes, rare pets for sale on the AH, level your alts, whatever; all the gold can be combined. With running the raid, you can only do one thing.Plus, as long as these aren't changed to BoE, there's no significant risk of gold farmers buying them up to resell. There's a potential risk of someone buying up all copies of a given item to protect their other sales, but it's unlikely. Plus, since this is a gold sink not a player auction, even if people do buy gold to use on the BMAH, that gold will be taken out of the system rather than becoming available for hacking or other use.
I think this is going to "enrage" the gold sellers.
