The trial of Chi-Ji is a test of hope. Uncertain of the future of his people, Emperor Shaohao sought out the great Red Crane. The Great Crane challenged Shaohao to find the hope within himself, and cast off his uncertainty. Once the Sha of Doubt was vanquished, the Emperor became a beacon of hope for his people. To pass the trial of the Crane, warriors must believe in hope, even in the darkest of days.
The trial of Yu'lon is a test of wisdom and faith. With omens of a bleak future floating through his mind, Emperor Shaohao climbed to the summit of Mount Neverest to seek the council of the Jade Serpent. Yu'lon urged Shaohao to cast off the dark emotions that plagued him, and through his trials, Emperor Shaohao would become one with the land. To pass the trial of the Serpent, warriors must be wise in their choices.
The trial of Niuzao is a test of bravery and fortitude. When Emperor Shaohao was overcome with fear, the Black Ox counseled him to face his fears directly. After a protracted battle with the Sha of Fear, the Emperor emerged victorious. To pass the trial of the Ox, warriors must be resolute in the face of overwhelming danger.
The trial of Xuen is simultaneously a test of strength and a test of restraint. When Xuen gave Emperor Shaohao a 10-foot-pole and asked him to strike one of Xuen's warriors, the Emperor could not land a blow. For without restraint, anger and hatred run wild. To pass the trial of the Tiger, warriors must harness their power, while burying their thoughts of violence.
Ordos was once a shaman of the Yaungol who sacrificed himself to the flame, following the promises of the Fire Lords, in order to become a demigod. His flesh is eternally seared with fires, putting him in endless agony. Yaungol Fire-Keepers ritualistically set themselves ablaze to emulate the ascension of Ordos, and cast enchantments and prayers to ease his pain.
Can't wait! Hopfully, I'll be able to catch up on the legendary quest line in time for this!
Awww, I know it might be silly, but i was expecting to take on the Celestials one-on-one... not as world bosses... which means we'll need a group of 25-40 players and feel just like any other raid boss... I wanted to see a fight similar to those on the Brawler's Guild, but more "honorable"... :PSo the Celestial pets are rewards from the Pet Battle Tournament?... it reminds me of Pokemon Stadium, when finishing certain events would give you a prize Pokemon... Don't get me wrong, it's a good system... though I'm guessing they won't be easy to get at all... specially for those not so skilled at Pet Battles such as myself :(
Aspect of Xuen is so cute ;_;
I've already found a way on to the island\
Looks pretty nice. It seems like 5.4 will be a pretty decent patch. Can't wait!
Let me throw two things out here from all the comments I have read so far. -Pet Battles: It will probably be an alternative form of some content. Blizzard has been really good at "spreading the love" to all aspects of their game in MoP. It won't be anything madatory for you to continue on content, just another form of things to do. Please consider you might have other issues going on inside your head if you would quit over pet battles. Might be just time to step away from WoW for a while.....and come back at a later date, as WoW is still pretty much the forefront of online games. (side note: I haven't done pet battle either. This is just something to entice people that haven't into trying it.)-Complaining about "Epic" quest line: One thing I have learned, it is humans' inalienable right to *!@#$ about the present, and remember everything from the past with rose tinted glasses. Everything in the now sucks, everything previous is just peachy. The Greeks said, 'Wisdom through suffering'. It applies to gaming as much as real life. The developers have stated you will probably do more work in this epic line than anything in previous epic lines, but it is broken up in the patches.I am hoping there will be more patches for MoP, this has been a delightful expansion so far. I am hoping we go like Ultima IV did; killing the bad guys isn't the end, you keep going until you reach Enlightenment.
About the 5.4 legendary quests:Will we have to do pet battles on Timeless Isle to get Timeless Coins?Do you have to be on the quest for them to drop?
Burning Soul: Inflicts 50000 Fire damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec. On expiration, the player explodes, inflicting 300000 Fire damage to players within 8 yards and knocking them up. Serious world boss... everyone within 8 yards gets pregnant....

I heard that you fight a diffrent celestial depending on what role you are inc Melee, Ranged DPS, Tank and healer. Not too sure. If i find the source will be sure to link it
The Xuen pet looks so adorable <3, I really want that one.
Anyone got info on how to obtain timeless coins C:?
TBH, the Chi-Ji fight at the moment is too easy. They really need to up the damage by quite a bit if they want decent values. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=artQFYHG97k Going to leave this here.
Looks way too much like what we've seen already in pandaria. With all of your money and designers couldn't you come up with something else? Boring..
