Just last night I found a Molted Feather in the Northern Barrens during the Crossroads invasion. I was exploring rather than fighting as my paladin had just hit 100 when I found it. It was in the northern area, not far from the road into Ashenvale.
Are the Crates in Hillsbard only lootable for the horde? As an ally I can't click on them.EDIT: Stayed all the way from 0% in phase to the start of phase 4 next to the crates, They are NOT lootable by Alliance characters.
Talrendris Ancient in Azshara is under attack by Felbats. If you kill all the bats, the Ancient will continuously walk around the excavation pit, attacking any invading demons in its path. Very useful for lowbies, as it will tank elites for you while you dps them down.
There is lost OOX-17 by a crashed plane just south of Sandsorrow Watch in Tanaris you can rescue, just like Echeyakee, too.
So lets say someone is saving up a few felbats to sell on AH once Legion is live, they will disappear or wont these items go away?
The ability to purchase them will be removed
The siege engines in the guide are very badly incomplete. Exactly what you can get is randomized, though the spawn locations are fixed. Note that this is only what I've been able to find -- and I have been looking. It's likely I've missed things. As noted in the guide, vehicles have nice amounts of health -- comparable to that of a level 100. It's also worth noting that most of them (but not all) are immune to many of the AoEs the invasion bosses spam out.Tanaris: Demolishers and Shredders for Horde, Siege Tanks and Mechano-Tanks for Alliance (beware, Mechano-Tanks have no pilot armor against AoEs). Most vehicles are due west of Gadgetzan, plus some Shredders are in town.Hillsbrad: Horde can get Glaive Throwers, Forsaken Catapults and Demolishers in various spots throughout the zone -- AV entrance, near towers, etc. Alliance can get Glaive Throwers, Siege Tanks, Mechano-Tanks and Gyrocopters (yes, armed flying AIRCRAFT). Alliance vehicles are mostly around the nases. The gyrocopters are on the tip of the westernmost.Barrens: Horde can get Demolishers, Shredders and Glaive Throwers. I have not found any Alliance vehicles anywhere yet. Horde vehicles are scattered throughout the zone, with clusters northeast and southwest of crossroads.Westfall: Alliance can get Siege Tanks and (very rarely) Glaive Throwers. I have not found any Horde vehicles in the zone. Alliance vehicles are mostly north of the Saldean farm.Azshara: Horde can get Demolishers. Alliance can get Siege Tanks and Glaive Throwers. Alliance Glaives are mostly around the elven buildings on the west side of the zone. Siege Tanks and Demolishers are scattered all over.Dun Morogh: No Horde vehicles at all as far as I can see. Alliance can get Mechano-Tanks, Siege Tanks and War Striders. Most vehicles are scattered all over the place, War Striders are by the gnomish riding trainer. Beware: Like the Mechano-Tanks, War Striders have NO pilot armor.
No mention of Ilidari outside of Caverns of Time?
Much akin to Echayakee in the barrens, I commented recently about this nostalgic npc companion Homing Robot OOX-71/TN in the Tenaris invasions. Don't let him be forgotten!
