I got to the final step today and the raid boss is in the Nighthold so I guess I'll be waiting a while to finish up. It's kind of ridiculous to have put in the quests with the chance of this wait.
sharptalon and snowfeather raid boss quests are ursoc and xavius so you can do those now. I got those 2 mounts today, bloodgazer and direbeak you need to wait for the nighthold. So if you have those 2 you can focus on them in the meantime :)
I can confirm a 14th and 15th Step on the Sharptalon and Snowfeather Falcosaur Questlines. On the 14th Quest for your Sharptalon you must complete three different Pet Battle World Quests with your Sharptalon Falcosaur and two other Pets from the Magical Family; Sharptalon Falcosaur summoned at all times.Similarly, for your Snowfeather Falcosaur you must complete three different Pet Battle World Quests with your Snowfeather Falcosaur and two other Pets from the Undead Family; Snowfeather Falcsaur summoned at all times. Both Questlines can be run concurrently for each species if you have an Alt Character accessible to the respective Pet Battle World Quests. All three Pet Battle World Quests must be different. You can not repeat the same World Quest with your Alt Character, so bear that in mind when you coordinate your efforts to do both species on the same day as I did this morning. Finally, after you complete this Step, you will get the Final , Easiest, and, Most Rewarding Quest from your respective Falcosaur; Step 15: Return your Falcosaur to the place where you initially found him/her, and while in there, Heal his/her Wounded Matriarch with any First Aid Bandage on your Bags. And, that's it folks; completing this 15th, and Final Step, will reward your respective Falcosaur Mount!I can proudly confirm that I got both of my Mounts this morning; within 10 minutes apart from each other, having completed Step 14th on each Falcosaur right before returning him/her to his/her Mommy Dearest.Good Luck to you All !
I've seen multiple people get it from the same spawn. Was there with a friend and we both got it.
The WPvP-Quests are mostly designed so that you'll probably won't interact much with the other faction. In fact, they are there to get people stick a toe into PvP. And, guess what, it works. I don't attack the other faction, but, oh well, if an idiot attacks me he/she will get a kick in the nuts. And that's fun, too.The Warden towers can mostly be tackled from the top with Goblin Gliders. Kill the captain first, then some mobs to complete the quest. The mobs hit hard if you're still a little low, get help to get you started. Honor is now a separate XP-bar with special PvP-talents which can be chosen. It's a separate character development path. I never liked PvP, I'm not good (I'm just too old and slow for it), but this new system is intriguing and I'll at least have a look into it. TL;DR don't be afraid of the PvP-Quests for your Falcosaur. It's really a non issue. You did What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been? This is just a joke in comparison. :-)
I just got the last quest from one of my pets and who imagines what quest?Skorpyron!Kill one boss, who is not available yet.and not available for many weeks!just seem absurd!Someone got the same quest?
last i checked u can tame unicorns.
If you have more than one lvl 110, you can actually do two of these "daily" quests a day for the mount. Complete a quest on one character, log onto another and a new daily will show up for the same falcosaur. I only have two 110, so haven't tested you can then do more than two, but it is a good way to go thru the chain faster. On the pet battle quests that aren't wq, you can also use a lower lvl 100 alt to complete them for some extra xp and cash. I also used a low lvl alt to do the visit the Azeroth cities quest to save time as they were already there.
For anyone that interest, if you have multiple level 110, you can do a quest, turn it, then log in with another character and then receive the next quest to do, so you can advance faster in the quest line to get the mount.
once you kill the matriarch, run around the WQ area and spam /tar orphan - that is how I found my first. I guess the locations are always the same. I'll try to update this comment as I find themFound:orphaned snowfeather at 32.5, 28.2sharptalon 47.2, 10.4Bloodgazer 35.5, 7.4
The only problem is these quests are so hidden I just found out today by accident in patch 7.2.5...I have killed so many for them for first aid and cooking on many alts...
