Stat Weighting Presets: Post the latest updates here

So the
weight scale
presets on the site have a tendency to get out of date very quickly. We want to avoid this, but we don't have enough people to do the theorycrafting ourselves—even trying to find and validate the theorycraft that other people have done is extremely difficult and time consuming—especially if you don't play the class in question.
So with that in mind, I'm posting a thread like this in every class forum. What I need is for you guys to let us know what the latest theorycraft is for your class and spec—whether it's Pawn values, an EJ post, something from ShadowPanther, Rawr, or whatever it may be. With this information, we'll be able to keep the weight scales up to date more easily, and make sure we always have the latest info.
What we need:
The actual weight values for each statistic
A link to the source information for the theorycraft
About when the theorycraft was done (to make sure it's recent)
Don't forget that no possible set of weight values will be right for EVERY character. Remember that the weight values should be calculated for a character who is
not capped
on any stat. We're looking primarily for weight scale results for fresh players of the max level here.
If the weight scales have gone too long without being updated, just put up a post in
Site Feedback
directing our attention to the relevant post in this thread.
Please Note:
Any post in this thread which is NOT a weight scale post will be deleted. Gotta keep this clean.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Gnub##DELIM##

I don't think it will be possible to build a calculator that will have any sort of accuracy without allowing for, and calcuting with, all talent points, and without having at least three pre-set gear levels to input.
To use an example from Asa's post above, the value of intellect in a 3/13/55 build can be almost doubled, from 0.3 to 0.56, simply by adding
imp. soul leech
to the build.
Changing a stats weighting by a factor of two simply by taking a 2 point talent rules out the possiblity of an accurate calculator unless it is fully customisable, imho. Generalised approximations can always substitute - but lor almighty they can be out by a lot!
Also, while Asa's numbers are completely correct, they are for an Ulduaur geared raider, values for an "entrance" raider are a little different, more along the lines of;
crit_rating=0.62
haste_rating=0.98
hit_rating=1.54
intellect=0.33
spell_power=1.46
spirit=0.44
These numbers are stored on my comp from an old sim that was run to try and get an "average" weighting across different specs - I will try and rerun tonight and confirm they are still accurate. There was still a huge variance between specs though - which I no longer have stored and will have to rerun.

ah yes. good point! totally missed the "fresh 80s" bit.
so, taking a warlock from my guild who dinged 80 two days ago and assuming affliction or destro(with suppression) as good starter specs because they take the hit talent i get:
new80_03_13_55 Int=0.16 Spi=0.75 SP=1.17 Hit=1.71 Crit=0.52 Haste=0.96
link
new80_53_00_18 Int=0.15 Spi=0.60 SP=1.27 Hit=1.21 Crit=0.44 Haste=0.54
link
average Int=0.16 Spi=0.68 SP=1.22 Hit=1.46 Crit=0.48 Haste=0.75
link
here's the gear stats i used, taken straight from his armoury:
gear_stamina=641
gear_intellect=668
gear_spirit=279
gear_spell_power=1141
gear_hit_rating=182
gear_crit_rating=72
gear_haste_rating=229
a mix of blues and greens.
think these values are more useful?

pretty sure they just came from
here
(EJ - simcraft thread)
Tier 8.5 + BiS gear stat weightings
- use with caution!
00_13_58 Sta=0.00 Int=0.56 Spi=0.75 SP=1.55 Hit=3.27 Crit=1.01 Haste=1.52
00_40_31 Sta=0.18 Int=0.31 Spi=0.82 SP=1.29 Hit=2.82 Crit=0.80 Haste=1.49
00_41_30 Sta=0.17 Int=0.26 Spi=0.77 SP=1.21 Hit=2.39 Crit=0.70 Haste=1.31
03_13_55 Sta=0.00 Int=0.30 Spi=0.94 SP=1.48 Hit=3.25 Crit=1.00 Haste=1.46
03_52_16 Sta=0.16 Int=0.48 Spi=0.73 SP=0.99 Hit=2.66 Crit=0.93 Haste=1.12
53_00_18 Sta=0.00 Int=0.32 Spi=0.73 SP=1.56 Hit=2.16 Crit=0.82 Haste=1.04
there is likely to be an updated simcraft using ptr values soon, as the ptr draws to a close, so i've copied the values here before they get changed on that thread.

Does anyone know the latest stat weightings for 0/13/58? All I can find are Affliction.
The Simcraft
sample output page
has stat weights for all modelled classes/builds.

I think those weights are for T8, not T9.
I don't remember seeing T9 stat weights anywhere yet.

NOTES
:
Take all these numbers with a big grain of salt.
your mileage WILL vary!
these are the numbers that go with the gear and specs they were tested with and don't inherently apply to
your
warlock even if you use the same spec or have similar gear.
they make a reasonable guide but i urge everyone to sim their own character if they want to know definitive, accurate numbers.

Generally speaking, all classes and races have a set base for all stats when they hit 80, which while the values can differ from individual to induvidual it still remains very close. And race determines what that base is. Would it be helpful to use that as a starting point?
E.G. All undead warlocks have the exact same stats at level1, and at level 80, completely naked, will have very close to the same stats, possibly close enough to make a rounded estimate for base stats, and therefor able to calculate the stat gains better.
Post by
asakawa
do you raid naked?
Post by
GaeBolge
no. But all gear only gives +Stamina or intelect values, eg actual stats. That should be easily calculatable.
Post by
asakawa
i think i'm misunderstanding you.
are you saying that base stats are more important than stats from gear?

hit can be measured best by taking points away from cap and measuring the difference so don't worry about capped hit for equivalence point calculation.
equivalence points or stat weights are always given on the first page of
EJ's simcraft thread
for current BiS profiles so if that's what you're interested you should just bookmark that thread.
it needs to be said, however, that stat weights have incredibly limited usefulness and this limitation becomes ever more glaring at higher gear levels.
stat weights, and the difference in weight between specs, makes for interesting discussion points but should
never
be used in any practical ways like choosing gear, gems or enchants. if you want to know what is best for you, sim your own character.
I
CAN
NOT
STRESS
THIS
ENOUGH
