I'm going to steal that puppy and hug him forever.
I like how you said that what they are trying to do for healing in Cataclysm isn't new. It isn't new at all to the mmo genre either as in most games I have played that is what healing is about-- conserving your mana and using the right heal not spamming your heal and people dying if you miss a second of healing.
@8:00...rejuv x5, wildgrowth, repeat :)
I remember hearing similar thoughts towards the end of TBC and it was right. The first time you went into naxx10 you had to watch your mana. As gear increased and extra abilities came in it wasnt important.I still think cata will be similar. -gear for regen untill you dont go oom then start stacking throughput.bring back the 5SR. it actually made healing interesting
mana cost boost or not, this probly won't affect druid heals much. Except those people who spam healing touch. Yes, I've run into a few, I told them to go play a pally. Because at ata higher mana cost or not, you'll still need to stack your hots on the tank/ and use things like rejuv+SM, except with this setup, you may just use regrowth instead of that combo due to the larger health pools. Not sure if I like this change, but I'm looking forward to the hunter and warrior changes more.
CANT RESIST PUPPY!
Thank god I have 3 healers. =)

I agree with everything said in this video. I used to play a Holy Priest in Vanilla and TBC. After playing in Wrath it just got boring. Healing got so easy and such a boring rotation that it was no real difference than playing my Arcane Mage with its simple rotation. I've taken on tanking now because that seems to be the only thing that is still somewhat of a challenge in this game. I am glad to see Cataclysm is going to be heading back to more of a Vanilla WoW feeling.
Awwww Puppy! Is it a Siberian Husky?
This doesn't sound good for pugs/LFD.Bringing back a good level of strategic use of mana for healers is a good idea (as a healing priest, I'm all for it), but after allowing players to become lazy and to expect healers to be able to heal bad players through anything and everything, get ready for a serious shortage of decent healers in pugs/LFD and a whole lot of tears.
