As stupid as this sounds, I think it's the doubt that drags us down.\r
We second guess all of our decisions in the arena, when we know what we're doing is right. We waste valuable time questioning ourselves, and it gets us killed.\r

The most important thing you can do is master the classes. It's not enough to know your class, you have to know them all, and how they effect you. Once you have a pretty decent knowledge of every class, go for it, and believe you're doing the right thing. \r

My first arena match ever:\r

It was patch 3.0.x, when rets still asploded mah head.\r
I died in literally 4 seconds after engaging. I was almost entirely turned off of PvP. But got right back into it, and did amateurish at best for a while.\r

Last 10 seconds of the match, both our cooldowns are all gone. We're both at 1k health, both frozen in place. He throws out an icelance, and the moment before it hits I throw up a frost ward and the like 0.00001% chance of a reflect kicked in and killed him. It was the greatest thing ever.\r

I definitely do. I usually don't even notice until right after the match is over and my throat hurts from yelling into my microphone. But victory is just made all that much sweeter when you get wound up like that. \r

Truth is, I'd rather lose to a truly skillful, non-gimmicky player than win to a skill-less group. Because the next time you see them, you'll know just how to counter them. GoGoGodzilla의 댓글 I've decided I'm pulling for *AAA*. 'Cause I'm GGG and we 3-letters gotta stick together. Yeah!\r

"If it works once, then it'll work again." seems to be the mindset of most players in the arena. They prepare one or two strategies before hand, and while the rest they make up as they go, you'll see the patterns in long matches or multiple matches against a single team. \r

If you're facing a repeat opponent, especially one that you lost to, it's important to remember how you lost. If you made a mistake, declare it, and prepare to do it right this time. If they stun locked you, don't blow your CDs early, wait for the stun lock to do it. Stuff like that.\r

If you're fighting new opponents you have that brief pre-fight window in the waiting room to think of something fast. Think about the comp primarily. Pick the weak target, and decide what you'll do to kill him, and how to control the other one(s). \r

The most important part is communication. If you lose because you, personally, messed up speak up about it. You're not going to be kicked off the team because of a single mistake, and it will help you to fix it for the next match. If your partner(s) are messing up, call them out. Both teams downed one last fight but C.R lost it in the end. aAa up 2-0! GoGoGodzilla의 댓글 C.R using mana burn strat. Amazing to see a full cloth group surviving so well against druid\/shaman\/lock. Completely changing my perspective on cloth survival.\r

Did you ACTUALLY just troll a moderator? You are either epic win or epic fail....Im not sure which. GoGoGodzilla의 댓글 With C.R losing, they now have a chance to get back into the fight for the $75,000 dollar top prize; loser of the last game takes home 30k; 15k to the third place (if I'm understanding the prizes correctly). C.R and LCA are up. Good luck to both teams.\r

Setups often include druids here - what setups do you favor, Wowheaders? GoGoGodzilla의 댓글 C.R takes round 1. Didn't look like there was as much ferocity required from C.R. Good all-around plays. I'd say LCA is outclassed here, though that doesn't mean they're bad at all. Just not as good.\r
