Last year, our University Relations and World of Warcraft teams challenged college and university students to submit an original 3D work of art that would be suitable for World of Warcraft. We received many amazing entries, and finally managed to pick the winners.
Please join us in congratulating them and discussing their works in the comments below.
Whether you’re a seasoned drafter or new to the game, we’ve taken the time to break down the final installment of the Aftermath TCG block by Cryptozoic for you. Discover the secrets of Uldum, the mysterious Tol'vir, and a load of new Monsters who await you in Aftermath: Tomb of the Forgotten, the latest expansion in the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game.
The latest addition to the World of Warcraft TCG continues its Monster theme. The Tol'vir make their debut, bringing with them an assortment of new Monster heroes for players to use. Making unusual allies, the Tol’vir possess two classes, making it easier for you to use effects that require a certain class in play. Fans of Throne of the Tides will find that cards like Bottled Void and Baxtan, Herald of the Flame are now easier to trigger than ever.
Dual-Class Heroes:
Five dual-class Monster heroes will give players the chance to combine two different types of class cards in the same deck! Play as a mage-warrior, a druid-hunter, or one of three other different combinations! The dual-class heroes provide a new option for playing the game in a manner unlike anything printed before.
Monsters Return:
Expect to see ferocious satyrs, gargantuan ogres, and of course, murlocs. Lots and lots of murlocs. Fans from the online game will recognize many of the cards from Tomb of the Forgotten to come right out of Uldum, its quests, and its dungeons. Choose to represent the Alliance, the Horde, or Monsters, as plenty of new tools for each faction will become available.
Tomb of the Forgotten completes the Aftermath block and includes one Monster hero for each class, so new players have plenty of deck building options available to them. Be a courageous Alliance warrior, a renowned Horde shaman, a fishy murloc hunter, or take up one of several other options. Whether you're looking to play with friends or you're looking to jump into organized play, there's no better time to start than with Tomb of the Forgotten.
Moreover, if you don't know how to play and are looking for an easy way to get started, check out the Class Starter decks or the Champion Decks. Both serve as ideal learning tools for the game, and will help you understand how to build a deck around the class you want. You can start with the class and faction combination that you play in World of Warcraft online, or you can pick up a Champion Deck and represent a character from Azeroth’s history, including Sylvanas, Jaina, or even Hogger!
Oh, and one more thing. Tomb of the Forgotten marks the return of this guy–
Thrall's back, and in epic form. He is Tomb of the Forgotten’s master hero, giving any player a chance to become the mighty Go'el. Summon him as your new hero in any deck you choose to play, or get him into play faster by bringing the four essences of the iconic orc together from the elemental planes. Bring the four aspects of Thrall together and make Thrall whole to play this master hero for free!
Tomb of the Forgotten contains three all-new Loot™ cards, which are randomly inserted in booster packs. Be the first to own a White Riding Camel in-game, this expansion’s rare mount. Climb into a Golden Sarcophagus, or add a Sand Scarab to your pet collection.
Aftermath: Tomb of the Forgotten is available for purchase in the Blizzard Online Store.

Leader of the Zandalar trolls' assault on the vaults, Gara'jal is determined to crack open this trove of ancient mystery and bring back whatever arcane power and knowledge he can find. Gifted with dark talents and surrounded by a loyal cadre of Zandalar mystics, he has broken through the outer walls and will not rest until the vaults belong to him.
In 25 player raids, Gara'jal chooses 3 other players from the raid to turn into Voodoo Dolls.
In Heroic Difficulty, three Severers of Souls attack.
Ancient records tell of these legendary rulers, powerful mogu who carved an empire from the very rock of Pandaria. Their names still cause the land to tremble: Zian of the Endless Shadow, Meng Sharpfang, Qiang Steelskin, and Sebotai Swiftfoot. Some say their spirits lurk in the vaults, lost in ghostly memories of battle and glory.
I'm super excited about cross account mounts. Makes my compulsive collecting a little more rewarding.
The Spiritbinder is a pain in the ass to kill; that fight is way over tuned heh.
It said that the only mounts not going account wide now are the Class and PvP ones. Does that mean that the profession-only mounts ARE going account wide?
Oh, so, so happy the Cloud Serpents will be account-wide. I was having a very hard time deciding between two colors to go with on my main, and one of them was a color I also wanted for an alt, so now I can get that one on the alt and get the other on my main, and then have both! It's unfortunate that I hit the Summer Slump even with the beta, because I'd love to hit 90 and help test the raid, but... I always get so lazy about WoW during the summer...
I've looked, but can't find a concrete answer to this question. Will account-bound mounts be available to characters on ANY server? I have a Horde character on the Thrall server that has the Mechano-hog, will my Horde character on the Zul'Jin server also have it? Or will it just be limited to characters on the same server as the character with the original hog?
I heard somewhere that they were going to translate mounts for alts of the other faction. For example, if I had the Argent Hippogriff, it would become the equivalent Dragonhawk if I rolled a horde. Is that true?
De nada.

I don't think we'll ever really see the end of the Zandalaris...
Maybe if we're lucky they'll just leave us alone.
