It's been true since release. You have use the special challenge-only reset option in the group leader's character menu, not the usual "reset all instances." You left the dungeon to reset it, that's why. You left the dungeon to reset it, that's why. You can reset Challenge Modes while being inside it. :)\r

We eventually stopped resetting between wipes and started resetting from inside when we knew the run was a bust. I didn't realize that was the difference in being locked out though. Gontier의 댓글 I thought the Goblin Glider was like a 2 or 3 min CD?\r

The cooldown of Goblin Glider is 3 minutes. thebdc의 댓글 This ensures that running these instances will be challenging even in later tiers--you can't outgear it.\r
I wonder how accurate that really is. Itemization will get better in coming tiers (i.e. you'll have gear with with only perfect stat distribution), so that should actually make challenge modes easier. perculia의 댓글 Thanks--updated the bit about the Goblin Glider. I've heard this was possible at some point in MoP, but had been changed. Also just had one of my 9\/9 guildmates log on an 0\/9 alt to check, and he says all of the gear is redded out on the vendor.

Edit: a quick google search brought up some exploits for alts to get Challenge Mode gear, so will not be describing that here. Hammeric의 댓글 "For specs with hit, you remain hit capped even in downgraded gear."

Do you have screenshots of this? I'd been looking into a similar issue not too long ago that affected socketed items only, but I didn't think there should be an problem with unsocketed items. Since all the different ilvl variants of the same loot are now built from the same base and affected by an ilvl-based multiplier, scaling something up and then down should have no effect. thebdc의 댓글 Here are some screenshots:\r
