Is it me or is that an unnecessary amount of fireflies and wasps?
nice and clear as per usual , but does that mean there is no unusual pets to catch , like all in dreanor seem to be beasts flying water and critters ;/
Welcome aboard!
just look at that peacock pretty awesome
Re all the wild pets being normal, its becase up till "recently" Draenor has been an ordinary world.Draenor has not had the following, in no particular order:
I'm with you on that one
Great first official article Serrinne! I like that there is some decent variety among the skins, even if they are mostly flying/beast pets.
Should perhaps mention that the 그림자 포자박쥐 at the least is actually not at all plentiful. It has few spawn points, does not spawn often and shares spawns with the snails around the area. I've been keeping track of it since they were put in. Maybe 1-2 up around Khadgar's Tower at most. Also 새끼 진흙등 강물하마 looks to spawn not at every riverbank but just at a couple in Gorgrond and is not plentiful either, but rare.Perhaps after everyone is done catching the first few months of the expansion we will see them more often.
I get that Draenor is an ordinary world, therefor wildpets are ordinary. But I agree with the above posts, there are a LOT of flyers in this one. And most don't even look like new models. The peacock model is cool. But the wasp/firefly... ugh, so boring. I mean, Frostfire Ridge, they could of squeezed a polar bear cub in there, a seal, a new penguin model...there are TONS of snow oriented animals they could of used.
Congratulations Serrinne on your first official Wowhead guide; it is well organized and very informative. I'll definitely be using it to quickly get all of the WoD pets once the expansion hits.On another note, I concur that the variety of wild battle pets is rather bland- there are only three truly new models out of all of them (hippo, toucan, peacock), and the ones with previously used models are repeated multiple times in this expansion with different skins. While Draenor is a relatively "normal" world at the time period expressed in this expansion, there are many far more interesting (or at least not mind numbingly repetitive) options for new pets that could've been used.
Great guide! Am I missing something, or is the adorable wolf cub not on there?
These are just the wild pets! The wolves are from archaeology and a horde reputation vendor!
Could you add each pet's builds and abilities if possible?
Great guide!
Some of my screenshots have been used :D that's kinda cool :)
You didn't say a word about the Bone Serpent which is supposed to be a wild pet in Spires of Arak, whats up with that?
The bone serpent is no longer in the pet journal on beta and I was not able to find any in Spires of Arak, so I suspect that was removed after it was datamined.
so much cuteness.
