*whispers* Does this count as a BlizzCon post?
I don't know if it's an EU thing or just my computer, but the link for the poll lead to a page that's so badly formatted that I can't actually select anything, and can't read any of the options without scrolling across. I've tried in Firefox, Chrome and IE, all are the same. I like the idea of having a say as to which questions asked, but it's disappointing that that doesn't seem to be physically possible.
I really enjoyed the panel about the Legion expansion. I have not felt disappointed with Warlords, I think it was a wonderful expansion. I still play the game and I enjoyed the art and the quests. The idea of making the areas of the Broken Isles scalable according to the player levels so you can choose your own path throughout the expansion is awesome and I think it will really help keeping players involved in the expansion. If you make a game to be followed sequentially so you reach a certain point you will only have the players involved until they reach that point and then they stop. If you continually keep them coming for more awesome rewards (and I think this is the weakness in WoW at this point, we need more REALLY awesome gear as rewards because the garrison units kept giving you very little in terms of all you invested in getting all those units leveled up.) I mean, you had to spend so much money and you didn't get so much in return in terms of gear (when my followers started to give me 640 gear my gear was already at 700). Why do you even need the followers after this? and what to do with the ships now? just get more crystals? Bummer. When you have almost all 700 items what do you gain from getting a 615 item from your Scrap yard? really? And the follower missions only cycled through items you do not really need anymore after some time. So please Blizzard, keep studying ways to get awesome and scalable goodies so we keep excited for doing quests and going to dungeons. Apart from that, I love the look of all the regions in the Broken Isles. Suramar is going to be amazing. I thank all the developers for all their hard work in bringing this expansion to us. I'd also like to thank Blizzard for working so hard at amazing games like Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. And Overwatch is going to be so exciting! Hard to say which game I like most right now. congratulations Blizzard for bringing all this to us again in this Blizzcon experience.
Lets see what the future will bring ;)
Some interesting questions, should be some better ones though
So glad they are handling the Q&A this way. There are always too many silly questions when they leave it up to the audience.
More Daily Quests!
Ewwwww no why do you want those back?
I'm so confused by the earning report. They say that the WoW sub numbers aren't important to the company as other projects. Yet they put a lot of focus on the user retention of Destiny players and not really much focus on the units sold. Two business views within the same company.
"How are you going to prevent that multi-role classes like Tank/DD or Heal/DD will have significant disadvantages in upgrading Artifact weapons, like they have now with the Legendary ring?"Doesn't this question apply to every class and spec? It sounds like the artifact weapons are tied completely to a particular specialization to the point they can't be used across them, so a MM hunter going BM will have just as hard a time as a Holy priest going Shadow.
