Is it split into wings, or one big slog? And what are the drop rates on the new "tier" sets? Seems a bit meh if every other class can power through the level 70 version once a week for a chance at their tier transmogs while the new classes get one chance every seven weeks at a full-on current-level raid.
I'm curious as to what size they're going to make it. Will it be 25m like the original? Will it be a capped size like 10m or 20m? Will it use the new 'flex' raid technology and allow 10-30 people? I'm hoping it's going to be a semi-legit raid and not some watered-down LFR that you can queue for, as this would be ideal for guilds who are finding NH a bit stale right now and are looking for something fun to do. Not saying it needs to be as difficult as it was back in BC though, given the raid will only be open for one week every so often. Ideally it should be the sort of thing where a Normal/Heroic guild could clear it in a night or two. If that's the case, the 900 ilvl on the drops sounds about right.
I'm hoping you can queue for this just like Molten Core. Going back to pugs for time walking seems like taking a huge step back.
There are indications that this will joinable through raid finder as feedback on ptr has been group formation is seen as a barrier. Devs have indicated they are considering making it so you can simply Q for it.
For the love of the Light blizzard please do recolors on the DH/DK/Monk gear sets to ones we dont already easily have.
It would make life so much better if they drop on Timewalking ><
There's a question no one asked yet:HOW MUCH XP WILL PEOPLE EARN WITHIN A RUN OF THE RAID?. If we follow the same rules from other TW events, to join BC ones we know that the character has to be 71 to be able to queue for the DGs, will that be the rule for the raid too? People in PTR remeber to ask Blizz about this, pease.
cant wait this raid on live servers! (yes, i missed Illidan kill in TBC... i'm crab (\/)Oo(\/) )
I want to know how difficult it will be. Because time walking dungeons are an absolute joke, and if the raid is that easy, and drops all the same crap, I'll just solo continue to solo it.
So basically running this on lvl110 with junk gear (just dinged and such) is the best way to get geared quickly, right?
I hope they give the tier-like sets for the Death Knight, Demon Hunter, and Monk different designs. Not even anything unique just something else, not they generic sets that I'm sure almost all of us have already. :/
