i want all 3 books DX
C'Thun looks F A B O U L O U S gurl!
That last image is probably a younger Varian courting Tiffin, his wife-to-be.
Queen Tiffin And King Varian initially disliked each other but eventually they became "inseparable". So it's impossible for them have such romantic relation before their marriage. Also Varian was never blonde, on the third picture, the guy have blonde long hair much similar to Arthas. The woman in the picture is wearing a blouse and skirt which became trademark garments of Jaina Proudmore. Jaina and Arthas had a warm romantic relation which we can see in this picture (but that nutjob thought they'd be better in their own ways). The guy is wearing a blue Cape. Summing up every points I've mentioned here, this is definitely Arthas and Jaina. The lion symbol is confusing I know, maybe a mistake? As in background, we can also see buildings with Lordaeron's architecture so it's obviously not in Stormwind.
I know
Damn demons cutting onions...
Now Jaina needs a pet crab to tell Arthas to kiss the girl
It is definitely Jaina and Arthas. Jaina has had a lot of heartbreak and loss in her life. I hope Blizzard has something sweet planned for her, where she can finally find some measure of happiness. She had so much joy, light, and hope once.
Jaina was so happy .___.
varian and anduins heads look a little off in the first picture.I wonder what's going to happen with arthas and jaina, just retread ground covered in the arthas novel, or something new?I want to learn more about some of the demon races, but it looks like that's not going to happen in this one.
Study the last picture and it is clear Jaina is the tragic heroine of Warcraft.Due to the various writers at Blizzard Entertainment there was bound to be some conflict about which direction her character arc is heading, while a bit messy her story still fits together. Warcraft 3 could be considered the start of World of Warcraft, as all the major figures from the former played crucial roles in the latter. While some may see the World of Warcraft experience and story shaped by the player characters, the story of the Warcraft franchise is that of these lore characters. The Titans, Old Gods, and other new aspects introduced in World of Warcraft add on to the world building aspect of the game, but it is from before the start of World of Warcraft pre-existing characters who we truly see the character stories such as Jaina, Sylvanas, Arthas, and Illidan. There are exception with post Warcraft 3 characters of certain importance like Varian and Garrosh. Turalyon and Alleria have just returned with the newest patch of Legion 7.3, completing and bringing back the key people from Warcraft 2, it will be curious to see where their stories will be headed. Jaina is returning for the next expansion in Battle for Azeroth where I hope she will have character development so the player and fan base can stop saying she's badly written and wrongly assess her as a villain. The same goes for Sylvanas, while extremely villainous commiting wicked actions and possible evil, she is not the antagonist of Warcraft. All of this could change with how Blizzard writers decide which direction to take these characters, but it seems time for Jaina to come back into the spotlight and show the player base how important she is and re-introduce the great character that is Jaina Proudmoore.
Why are Jaina's feet so horribly rendered? Her feet look two different sizes, her left foot looks appropriately small but too small for the shoe she's wearing, and her right foot looks like a third section of leg next to the single step. Still, I'm glad Blizzard gave her pointy shoes to remind us she's a mage.
Czech! :3
I can't be the only one that feels like this art isn't as good as the previous chronicles. The C'thun looks up to the standard I would expect for the chronicles but I feel that the other two do not. They just look off to me. It's not bad is anyway its just I don't feel it fits or feels the same as the other art featured in the books.
