At this point it's full price for half a book. Way too many previews. Also, I guess it's Magni's fault we have to deal with all those weird races showing up on island expeditions. That's kinda neat.
Just besure Genn doesn't appear in the book.
gee cant wait to see sylvanas fanboys defend this
Salty alliance fan boys. Also if i may add Sylvanas is not going to be alliance loot pinata keep dreaming and stay salty ;) Tho i would imagine only loot Mandiun could drop if someone mannaged to stab him in the back is his "human potential" and some sparks of light .
This book looks more and more like a weird fanfic and i doubt is will stay canon for even 2 years. Especially since the Sylvanas portrayed here seems very different from the in-game one, both current and in BfA
The problem is, that it's Blizzard's idea to potray Sylvanas like that. Christie Golden only puts Blizzard ideas into words. She only writes what she was asked for. This is what they want, so it's probably going to stay canon for long time.
So I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but does anyone else find the way Sylvanas reacts to hearing about the Alliance committing forces to aiding Silithus' healing.... concerning? We know the main night elf army was dispatched to Silithus just before Sylvanas attacked. It seems likely that they were the force the Alliance committed to aiding in Silithus' healing, if not a part of their commitment. This is the concerning bit though. We've known for a while that the Alliance were aware that a horde force was being mobilized in Ogrimmar. We all assumed the Alliance and horde were just setting out to go wage war there but then the horde tricked them by instead diverting their entire force to Teldrassil while it's defenseless. What if the Alliance (and everyone else committed to aiding the healing in Silithus) were made to believe that was the horde's force they would be committing to aiding Silithus? The way this passage is, it's starting to look like Sylvanas formed her invasion force under the guise of a support force she promised to send to Silithus, and then once the Night Elves sent their support she diverted her "support" to Teldrassil to attack while its defense was greatly weakened.
