Huh, I wonder what'll happen to the Alliance Hall of Fame when 8.2 hits, AoTC won't be obtainable anymore. So I guess you'd get the Hall of Fame but not Cutting Edge. Talk about a blunt edge ;)
Alliance HoF will close with the start of Season 3 2 weeks after 8.2, already confirmed, if only 20 guilds are in it then so be it.

Shouldn't take too long to fill up. It's definitely not going to close before 100 guilds enter it.
Why are there so many more Horde guilds than Alliance guilds?
That's not true. The top 300 horde guilds are just better than the alliance.
Seems getting HoF on Alliance is rarer than HoF on Horde. Weird side-effect.
The only reason there's so few Alliance kills is the fact that this raid is so stupidly overtuned. Ion promised Cabal to be equal to Rasta/Mekka in difficulty, and Uunat being around Jaina difficulty wise, but instead both Cabal and Uunat are 2-3 times harder than was promised... Most mythic guilds don't even bother wasting time on those 2 encounters due to very poor difficulty/reward ratio. And Blizzard barely made any nerfs to those encounters since release (except a few minor changes here and here). This raid so far going to be worst raid in WoW history.
The PvE scene aswell as the PvP scene are both very unbalanced now, and there's other way to fix it than changing the story so that the Alliance and the Horde play together 24/7 and make PvP free for all - both instanced and in the open world.
"barely made any changes"? The main difficulty of Cabal was it's short enrage timer, which has been increased by two full freaking minutes, and Uu'nat (originally a 700-800 pull boss) is currently a 250-300 pull boss.So what the hell are you talking about.
Give the 200 first guilds to do this the hall of fame title, the alliance is a discount one, so many worthy horde guilds could have then them.
