This will eventually level out, was always the case in Vanilla to have queue's after patch days. Unfortunately I tried to open Classic then open BFA to play while I waited, nope can't do that. Once I logged into BFA I was disconnection from Classic. oh well lots to do while I wait :)cheers, Enjoy Azeroth.
Please remove estimated time from the Realm is Full queue status. It is probably the most deceptive, inaccurate, and infuriating part of being in the queue. Position is quite sufficient. Any of us who played vanilla understand that it's going to take a while. To sit at 1K with estimate of 4 minutes for almost an hour is ridiculous. If you don't want to remove it, at least write a better algorithm to calculate estimated time dynamically.
Average wait time would be easier to calculate based on the real data of how long someone was in queue before entering the game. Using data from the past 3 hours then rolling reset on the second hour. I.e 4-5 5-6 6-7, when you roll it forward it becomes 5-6 6-7 7-8 with the first time leap-frogging from the beginning position to the end to give a new end time.
how are we gonna raid with such queues?Sorry we can't raid - our Main Tank is 1241342314th in queue with 21314232134 waiting time!
Well.... I got into Herod early this morning to play. Waited about 45 mins on the queue. This afternoon, I logged off for 1 hour to get pizza and pick up my son. Now I'm 12,000 in queue. 400+ minutes.
Grobbulus has a 3k queue. 50ish minutes.
A feature like this is a good idea. Quite useless if you only update it every 4-5 hours, though.
Herod is at about 17000 right now. 5:52pm CST
