Guys why is it so hard for some of you to separate unique factions from Horde and Alliance? That's kinda narrowminded
Blizzard is just trying to sweep that whole 8.1 trash scenario under the rug, just like they've tried doing with Teldrassil.
We've had Death Knights walking around in Alliance cities just fine since Wrath. In 8.1 Tyrande tells the Night Elves forced in to undeath to return to their people, but they run away with Nathan Bootlicker and they're said to have been abandoned? Undeath isn't as taboo as it used to be anymore, but Blizzard needs to look for an excuse to shoehorn more zombies in to the Horde.
A Menethil and a Proudmoore, together again.
I think it's a little fast to have Calia just taking over leadership of the Forsaken. The idea of a council - with Calia, Derek, Lillian (maybe Bishop Faol?) trying to figure out how to move forward. It's a little unbelievable for the Forsaken to immediately trust her to replace Sylvanas. Her as an adviser makes sense for now. Also, I'm thinking upright posture will be an option, like with the Orcs if Calia gets involved. And perhaps a re-skin option to make Forsaken look a little more human if they wish. Thoughts?P.S. Why can't Bishop Faol be involved here? Hello!
Well...I'm done. Thank god BfA 3.3 in terms of gameplay looks way more exciting. Story I couldn't be anymore tuned out if I tried.
Well, this is just.... not good - definitely flagging end of factions. Factions and that allegiance to a team are a reason many connect with the game. For the Aussies here: imagine if State of Origin was just two captains picking sides? Would honestly be surprised if anyone tuned in to watch that (*cough* *cough* AFLX)Do people remember the advertising at the start of BfA? The ads really drumming up the Horde v Alliance story? And then we're going to end the expac without factions? If nothing else, I feel disappointed. Although people with faction tattoos are probably feeling even worse =/Addendum - the only potential item that may indicate something else is up is this line from the new Il'gynoth Whispers:
I'd of prefer'd Lillian Voss. Not someone who quote "Have no interest in being Queen". and who ran and hid from her people for over a decade. Then comes back claiming bloodright to a race that doesn't even have blood. Sylvanas was made leader because she was the saviour of the forsaken. What has Calia done?
Saw it coming. Kinda disappointed. But we'll wait and see
Being most Forsaken from Lordaeron, Calia being their queen makes totally sense
