Great, another novel featuring Sylvanas... After BfA I've given up on Blizzard's lore, not touching this one.
Hmmmm does this mean talanji and zappy boy are going to be a item me thinks so they are around the same age. And it would be a good arc to make her and him get together
Sounds very Horde story heavy to me. And frankly I'm a little tired of that.I know that's precious little to base any opinion on... but...
Not by Christie Golden? Kind of disappointing. I've enjoyed all of her WoW books.
Zekhan, a literal nobody that is now a major character. lol.......I just don't like the direction the storytelling has gone since Cata. How did they create something so awesome back in the 90s to have it completely butchered in the 2014+
hopefully a little less bias than the last one
Here's hoping the book isn't as Horde-centric as BfA was! ... though the summary doesn't help.
Yeah, don't add the story into the ACTUAL GAME so all of us can get into whatever great or weird writing this random (for me) writer comes up with. But no no, write a book and make me either order it or look it up elsewhere on the internet, instead of playing the game. Yeah. Great. Thank you. It's just like what happened with the story for Calia Menethil that some of us missed. And parts of Tyrande's story. So considering how uninterested they seem to be at making cutscenes I can somewhat understand them. And obviously more money to the writer for writing this.I'm sorry for this whining. I mean, whoever in their right mind would ever want a coherent story in one media.Especially something as massive as the Warcraft lore. It's great that they add more stories to the game. It's wonderful that they keep on making and adding content, but could they PLEASE learn how to convey this in the game?QQ done. I still like this game. The choices of Blizz just annoys me a lot lately.
Wonderful.... More key lore developments happening outside of the game. I wish they put more effort in their in game storytelling.
Lore is mostly why I play the game and I'm enjoying it. I'm glad they put stuff like this in a book instead of the game though. Sounds like it could have some potential for solo scenarios where you're just along for the ride but you can get much more information in a book, see inside the characters' heads without them having to announce every thought out loud, and not have to worry about giving the player some busy work while they're watching it all go down. Not to mention, developing long heavily detailed story moments in game might be good the first time though but it either becomes irrelevant (if you can skip it) or a tedious slog on alts. I'd rather in game content be stuff that's fun to replay, which I understand is subjective but I'm not sure anyone would want to hear the same dialogue and watch the same cutscene 12+ times.Excited for this, especially the fact that Zekhan seems to have a prominent role. Warcraft needs more new blood like him and Delaryn (who I'm disappointed isn't mentioned in the summary) instead of bringing back characters like Illidan in Legion.
