Also, Author, the Tanaris War was only for about 3 and a half hours. There were 2 alliance guilds that turned in unbothered before the Grizzly GM became unbanned.

There are NO winners in this. Sure, toxic players from one guild finally suffer the consequences of their actions and I'm sure plenty of folks consider it rough justice or whatever. But in the end, for this to happen, those involved had to lower themselves to the same level of toxic behaviour and when that happens, nobody truly wins anything. Many who weren't involved got dragged in and yes, I know the Horde guilds involved have tried to allow those innocents to get through but, surprise surprise, the toxic guild players also tried to take advantage.Maybe Blizzard will decide to take action against all those involved, maybe they won't, that's for Blizzard to decide. But however anyone wants to try and explain or justify this, it's just more griefing in response to previous griefing. Blizzard should, at the very least, investigate to determine if any punishments are required, but Blizzard really needs to take some sort of action against all of this toxic behaviour because there should be no place for such behaviour in any MMO! PvP is fine but this has devolved far beyond just PvP and is now just plain and simple toxic behaviour being hidden behind the excuse of PvP.
Imagine all that farming for nothing lul
Don't poke the bull and you won't get the horns lol
the most toxic moments, in the most toxic game, are truly radioactiveradioactive
It's a pvp server, in a contested zone. There is definitely a pvp solution available. Literally no one feels bad for ally on that server after their mass report bull@#$% started the griefing. Get rekt and next time don't be twats.
The argument that its just PVP is bull, PVP wasn't the issue, it was the terrible servers. How hard would it have been to implement layers? This type of griefing is ALSO possible on a PVE server and its even worse because the opposite faction cant do anything to stop them from keeping him in combat. The horde even prevented their own faction from turning in to Anachronos as well. The horde sat at Anachronos all day and kept him in combat while having numbers so large that the server was crashing BADLY leaving any attempt to take the zone back impossible with the amount of lag.
Imagine if Blizzard actually had the balls to just ban all Grizzly members who abused the report system for a month at bnet account level, denying them any possibility to get scarab lord and getting into AQ 30 days after every other competitor in the race/speedruns or whatever.Horde wouldn't have had to resort to doing this, and therefore other alliance players, who had nothing to do with Grizzly, wouldn't have suffered side effects. To me, the only one at fault is Blizzard.
