I voted for the tome but i'm happy for the people who wanted this, it was very cool blizzard gave it up to the community to vote for which was pretty friggin cool of them. Don't be sore about it's not what you wanted and posting nasty comments, be happy for the people that did want this. You jokers have another free mount.
When the list was posted I said I stopped reading after I read Wandering Ancient, so I am happy. Too bad it won't be around until next year,
Can we take the Wandering Ancient's victory as indication that most people are interested in going Night Fae?
It's a free mount. Some of you need to stop being so entitled. Blizzard had no obligation to do this, yet they did. My choice was the Caterpillar but I'm not going to complain about this. It's still a pretty cool mount fantasy-wise.
As a druid main, I wanted the book because I was betting on a cool animation but the tree was a very close second. So win win....
Will the other mounts that didnt win be available at the game shop? cause i rather buy the one i like
After what happened to teldrassil, my nelf main will be riding around on this baby delivering vengeanceHalf-joking aside, I'm not surprised at all that this won. Other than the nerubian, ancients are the only other entry on this list that have existed since WCIII, and so a lot of players have grown up with and have seen ancients everywhere while questing through darkshore, ashenvale, etc., and being able to have one of our own appeals to a lot of long-time players.The caterpillar, slime cat, and tome are all still very cool and unique mounts, but I think they lost (imo) primarily because unlike the ancient, they just didn't give off the "Warcraft" feel that many WoW players love. I hope we can get the other mounts anyway through the in-game shop or something, but I'm very happy that a fan favorite creature present in Azeroth since the beginning is finally a mount - I remember having a ton of fun riding on them during early nelf questing and in the battle for darkshore during the war of thorns.
