I'm going with WoWup.io one. Lightweight, looks good and does Retail+Classic. Also gets its addons from: Curseforge, Wowinterface, Github and Tukui.Edit: and Add-on catalogue browsing if you care for that. Surprised you aren't doing a few of these in one article and highlight their features.
When does the twitch client stop doing addons anyone?
Nice though have a question about how either of the managers work. Will either of them work without an account at Overwolf as I don't want to have one with them if not needed.Do we still get all updates, or is an account with Overwolf a must ? I have currently gone from curse to twitch. Thanks for any answer :D
Dear Smexhy Thank you for taking time to answer my questions :D I will do so and needless to say I am so relieved not to have to make an Overwolf account .thanks again :D
i don't get how wowhead picks and chooses which content creators to highlight. It's clear you all have some sort of arrangement with DesMephisto and Rextroy to nonstop advertise anytime they do anything, but stuff like this is so weird. Ajour is one of the worst addon managers, theres tons that are way better. Yet you straight up lie to our faces and say its the only open source, so that people who don't know better will go and download it. Why?
Tried Ajour, doesn’t seem to run... nowhere can I find MacOS requirements, does it only run on the latest OS, I have a nVidia GPU so I am restricted to what OS I can run...
Installed wowup.io yesterday, seems fine. They are also planning to add linux and mac support (not that I need it, but still).

Ajour has much cleaner UI so I love it. Lack function for browsing catalog and installing addons so if you want to install addons you would probably prefer WoWup instead. Anyway, I use Ajour for daily checking/updating addons.
Creating a third party application to redistribute content that you do not own and that you have not been allowed to share is against the copyright law. There is a reason if twitch app only allowed to download addons from curse, and not from other platforms: because they weren't allowed to.Here is a brief article from a wowinterface admin from 2008, explaining why the wowinterface app will never allow to download content from others sites:https://www.wowinterface.com/forums/showpost.php?p=89833&postcount=9For example, the cursebreaker app doesn't even show the author name of the addons, doesn't indicates from where the addon are downloaded, and doesn't provide any link or direct information to the original content. If you want to support the addon creator, you simply can't.Redistributing content that you don't own has a name: it's called stealing and is illegal. You may not like the overwolf app, and if you're looking for, you may find alternatives. But keep in mind that all those alternatives are illegal. They are showing very little respect for the addon creators, or for the curse work. They are just taking profit and advantage of this situation at the expense of others.Up to you to trust and use those, but just be aware of their lack of morality.Keep also in mind, that wowhead is currently promoting illegal content....
no clue why this story was run after the last one had liek 80% comments supporting wowup ,
