This is going to suck for those who try it out and end up banned since I can imagine a lot attempting to do it and use the argument that its only secondary stats and it isn't permanent.
Ya don't do this. Not smart.
And that's kids how we organize a massive accounts-supsension
Lmao, someone watching people running keys with Ellesmere and nerftank...
Do not attempt. Remember back in BFA when there was a bug that allowed multiple EXP potion stacking. Account penalties were handed out back then as well.
So it's an obvious bug, yet wowhead posts it in their news a step-by-step guide how to do it..... ummm....
Yeahhh, I don't see why Wowhead is advertising this...
I'm pretty sure making a guide on how to exploit the game is against TOS.
I think this is Wowhead's way of getting abusable bugs fixed faster (by giving it widespread attention).
Ah wowhead and detailed guides on how to abuse an exploit, name a more iconic duo.
OK why you're promoting "exploits" caused by bugs? I remember back in Legion days, there was a bug with the demon killer pot from Argus which were stacking on Imp Mother. People were stacking the buff 30-40 times and literally one shotted the mage tower boss. You guys were on deleting frenzy about the exploit. But now posting similar bug as an article?
By giving the step by step guide on how to do it they provide the information into the public domain and this FORCES blizzard to fix it. This is the critical part. If only a few people knew how to do it Blizzard would not be compelled to fix it. Now that the world knows how, they have to fix it or accept that its not a bannable offence until they do manage to get round to it.We have seen faster reactions on Blizzard's side to hot fix issues listed by Wowhead than any other exploit. It should not be needed but this does get the desired result.
knowing how blizz is... abuse on your own discretion, lolz
This is one of those "hey, that's a cool concept" bugs that isn't really worth the time and effort to use it. For example, if it takes you 30s to zone out and back in to a instance (pretty sure it takes a bit longer than that but 30s is a nice even number) then it would take everyone 10 minutes to buff everyone else with all 4 buffs. This means that your first set of buffs have 10 minutes or less on them when the last set of buffs are applied. If that time to zone out and back increases to 60s (which is probably much higher than the average time) then the first set of buffs would be falling off as the last set got applied.
