“What was the most epic loot drop you've ever gotten?”it would probably have to be the time-lost proto-drake that drops from the rarespawn proto-drake in storm peaks. i stared at the npc for a few seconds before i realized what it was.
Probably the most epic drop I ever got, to me anyhow, was the skullflame shield. I was just running Stratholme with my pally, heading toward the live side. It's funny, because I think Stratholme is where I have seen the most BoE epics drop. It was fortuitous this time for me, as just before we entered the scarlet portion of the instance, one of the undead dropped a skullflame shield and I won the roll. I debated a few days whether to sell it or use it, but the desire to equip it myself won out. It looked pretty awesome, seeing use until I got into Zangarmarsh after BC came out.
the epic I remember most is Underworld Band that dropped for my lvl 32 mage in STV. it was banked for three years. then I created my first lock, which I leveled Fast, 1 to 60 in a week or so, which ment I wasted it.(back then it had shadow spell damage)but, it's still in the bank, as a nice memory of the first epic drop
most epic loot? have to say, my Felheart Shoulders. i have yet to find shoulders i liked more than those. it's a shame my lock is a BE now, i no longer have my human with his beautiful felheart, only my blood elf with his only partially beautiful Season 1 =(
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43954 Was the most EPIC drop I ever got as well.Just yesterday, my raid guild ran 25-man Sartharion. We were doing well until Sartharion was at 5%. Then our tank D/C'd, and the big guy proceeded to go ape on everyone in raid. We just beat him down and there was just me and the rogue left. Rogue leaves him close to dying, gets stomped. I let loose an aimed shot, BOOM, dead dragon. . . and me the only survivor.Needless to say, everyone laughed over vent, rez'd. Tank went over to loot, this baby popped up. Everyone's just rolling for it. . . I was just about to roll when I saw the mage roll a 98, and thought "Aw hell, I'm going to loose anyway, might as well just roll."I rolled a 100. . . Needless to say, I'm now swooping around like a maniac on this mount.
My favorite epic was the Staff of Infinite Mysteries dropped from the Curator. I just loved the look of it.
My most epic loot was The Horseman's Reins simply because it was a 1-in-a-million kind of thing and I got it!
this seems fun lol
