It looks like it doesn't matter where the posters are placed. For Alliance in SW, I put all mine in Old Town, which is convenient for getting to and from the questgiver in the keep.

They are small little posts in the ground with a small blue arrow above them. In Org its hard to see them in the drag but they are easily seen in the valley of strength.

This is part of the pre-cataclysm launch quest chains. This one involves going through the drag and setting up warning posters against the Doomsayers, the places where you set up the posters are small, easy to miss wooden pole sticking out of the ground with a dark blue arrow floating above it indicating that there is a pole there.

-There is one directly to your left when you enter the drag from the Valley of Strength
-Two on either side of the entrance to the Valley of Honor
-The other two are on the path between the Valley of Strength and the Valley of Honor

These quests do phase the quest items (poles) out if you are not on the quest.

These Quest Chains do not count towards the Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement.

I just used the posters in the same site... I just selected five near blue arrows and that made it!

You walk around Orgrimmar looking for half-built posts, over which a flashing blue arrow is directing you to place your poster to warn others about Cultists, then an Orgrimmar Citizen will spawn and walk over and read the poster. Then the Orgrimmar Citizens make hilarious comments. The best one was:

"Doomsday Cultists? Well, the orcs have already survived the end of one world, so what's another?"

Some of the other comments were:

"Looks like it's time for the grunts to clear out the Drag and the Cleft of Shadow again." (This is similar to the Alliance quest but they substitute "Old Town").

"If I had a silver for every time I heard the world was going to end, I'd be richer than a goblin trade prince!"

"Who would join something like this? If the world were really going to end, do they really think it would bother warning us?"

The alliance comments were pretty funny too but these were a lot funnier.

Unable to find these markers now, perhaps they got removed with the elemental invasion? There isn't an elemental invasion going on at the moment when I can't find any markers in the old spots and atleast not anywhere in the valley of strength.

[We've got to do something to reduce interest in this doomsday cult, but I'm hesitant to take much action until we know more about who is behind this group.

I've had my men place markers around heavily traveled areas in Orgrimmar. Take these posters and set them up where you see the markers. They won't discourage the most determined of seekers, but it's a first step in exposing this cult. The Horde has enough to deal with as it is, without people wilfully spreading lies too.]
