alternatively, the mountain pass is in Valley of the Four Winds... follow the path and go north, encountering a few quest hubs along the way.

guys, i rly need some help. i got this quest but i cant turn it in. i dont see the npc. i dont get phased in or out. i tryed tickets but no help. here is my last shot. or im locked with this :(. i know there are multyple npc's from where u get this quest, but i dont know where i can find them. tryed to abandon and get it again from from Leni Kelpenstout in Marista but same problem. last thing to do, unless u guys have a solution, is to abandon and retake it from all the npcs that gives it. w8ing for some tips.

For those without co-ordinates, fly to the "Grassy Cline" flight point in Valley of the Four Winds, and you will find a staircase leading to the mountain path.

Just an fyi, I just picked this up in Binan Village not too far from the flightmaster... not in Eastwind Rest as indicated on the wowhead map. While Im sure you can probably get it by other means, I went straight here at 87 and picked it up.

ok. so time to make it clear. if u cant complete this quest due to ur not able to see the npc ur suposed to talk to, dont worry, ur not buged.
here's how it is. after spending 2 hours with a gm, and countless tickets before, we managed to figure it out. why cant i complete the quest, EVEN if i did all the quests in pandaria except this one and the posible follow up. the issue is like this. U know that u get a quest from X zone lets say, that sends u to Y zone. well, if u dont complete that quest, and u start doing quests on ur own in Y zone, @ some point u will get phased. u will be able to get/complete other quests, BUT, some quests like this one, will be imposible to finish due to phasing. so stop wondering or anything like that, making tickets, loging out and in, there is nothing wrong with ur char. hope that helps u all.

For those who have found this quest broken I believe I have the solution. It tells you to turn in this quest after you have done it and opened the gates. Some how along the way it gets bugged the solution is to go to Vale of Blossoms and go to Guo-lai. There is a quest there that makes you go stealth and plant explosives in the entrance. at the entrance the quest should pop up for you to go kill Dugao a quillen in the cave. After I acquired this quest it lead me to The Pagoda and all the dailies were open. I dont even think you need to even do the escort quest try flying to Guo-Lai halls entrance and see if a ! quest pops up for you. another tip hit the elite to get attacked by the Quillen

From the FP at One Keg, follow the road out heading east. There is a path that leads to the Temple of the White Tiger at 66:59. You can conveniently get the flight path while you travel to the temple.

It seems this lead-in quest is offered all over the place. I just found it available from the innkeeper, (labeled "Brewmaster"), Peiji Goldendraft in Dawn's Blossom, Jade Forest.

You need to finish this quest and the rest of the chain to unlock the Golden Lotus Dailies

I had problems with this quest, I couldn't turn it in even though am standing right at the yellow question mark because i couldn't see the NPC to deliver it to, and i needed to finish it to start doing Golden Lotus, Shado-Pan dailies. After trying to finish up the quests in Kun-Lai Summit and asking many people and opening a lot of GM tickets i found out that i was phased, because i have done quests in Kun-Lai Summit, while the quest (Temple of the White Tiger) is one of the chain starting quests. Finally i received a reply from a GM and there was a solution to my problem to unlock the Golden Lotus dailies. I just had to continue with the quest (Stones of Power) given by Anji Autumnlight quest found in Vale of the Eternal Blossoms , this NPC can be found along the road from Golden Pagoda to Whitepetal Lake. After I finished that quests and couple quests after, i got the Golden Lotus dailies unlocked, finally...

If you can't see or take this quest yet you can look it up and see what quests you may have to finish before you reach this one.

When you run in to hand Sunwalker Dezco the Temple of the White Tiger quest, a short scene will occur. On one side of the big majestic tiger, Xuen, stands Sunwalker Dezco and Anduin Wrynn, and on the other stands Zhi the Harmonious and Taran Zhu.

Anduin has exchanged his white shirt for a yellow and and is currently wearing a white handband. I'm not sure if that symbolizes anything, but I just thought it was interesting.

Zhi the Harmonious says: ...I've seen them with my own eyes: Mogu legions, storming the Vale in force. We are not trained for mass combat!
Anduin Wrynn says: The Alliance - and even the Horde - we can help you.
Taran Zhu says: Great Tiger, the strangers from beyond the mists, they cannot be trusted. The wreckage in the Jade Forest can attest to this.

If you talk to Sunwalker Dezco, you can actually carry a brief, yet VERY interesting, conversation with him.

The Prince of Stormwind is unguarded! Why don't we capture him for the Horde?

Sunwalker Dezco: Hah! Spoken like a true disciple of Garrosh Hellscream. Our "Warchief" would be proud.

But MY horde does not fight unarmed children. Nor would I dare bring our war to this sacred chamber, in the presence of an August Celestial himself.

Besides, this little one has earned the friendship and trust of High Chieftain Baine Bloodhoof. For that reason, consider him under my protection.

Seems that Anduin Wrynn has somehow gained the friendship and trust of one of the Horde leaders... how interesting!

i had the same problem of being phased and not being able to hand in , after talking to a GameMaster i figured out what to do , you need to abandon that quest and go to "The Golden Pagoda" and check if there are quests there , if not Go To "Ruins of Guo-lai" a little bit to the east of it there is a few quest givers ,those should give you quests , complete those quest lines and you should be on your way to "The Golden Lotus" dailies. { hope this helps }

I have heard a lot of confusion as to who exactly gives this quest and where it is. I have picked up this quest on all my characters from Hopmaster Chang at halfhill. Im horde, I dunno if that makes a difference, but just figured Id throw that out their in case it helps anyone.

I had no problem with the quests and gettting the NPC's, etc. Unfortunately, at this point it's game over. You have to fight two shas, and then Garrosh. However, Garrosh will kill you quicker than you can say sh*t and there's not a hope in hell of doing anything about it. All you can do is spend 3 minutes running back from the graveyard, die, lather, rinse, repeat. You can't proceed with the quest without winning an impossible fight.

EDIT: Apparently it's only melee DPSers with no heals (e.g. warriors) that are screwed. If you can root him or use a hunter pet and hit him from a distance it's no problem. Or if you can bubble or heal yourself. But if you have to get in close to hurt him and the best you can do is pop a potion to heal, too bad.

This leads onto a quest chain that you need to complete in order to access the Golden Lotus dailies.

Trying to find this place was actually the final straw for me. I ran around in circles for over an hour looking for the way in, suddenly realized I wasn't having any fun at all, and hadn't been having much fun for a long, long time. Making players waste time like this is essentially like a bartender watering down a drink, the lazy way out. Sadly these kinds of boring time sinks happens over and over, more and more, and there are great games out there to play where you can actually have fun. Blizzard may survive, they may not, but after this FU to the loyal player, they'll do it without my subscription fees.

the dialogue for this quest has changed since 5.4 and it now refers to garrosh's actions in the vale.

Interestingly enough when I recently did these quests and actually paid attention to the npc dialog for the first time since 5.4.1 -- I found that they have updated all of the conversations to incorporate the desolation in the vale. it was impressive and seamless, and it even included a change to the conversation between the celestials at the end of the last cut scene. the black ox talks now *grin* - if i hadn't already done it 10 times before with other characters i wouldn't have known :)

I know this isn't not super critical for game play but from a lore perspective and just plain acknowledging the good hard work done for us I thought i should post something :)

I got my butt kicked on this lvl 87 quest with an ilvl of 473.... maybe I just suck but watch for the tests the tiger gives to hit hard.
