This does not require level 46. I can't confirm the minimum but 40 (or even 35?) would make sense. I completed this quest at level 43.

The quest -is- unavailable until you complete all the quests from the fellow in Feathermoon Stronghold (re: Wild Leather), including taking the letter to Darnassus.

This quest will allow you to (eventually) create these items - note that several are Bind on Pickup, and many are not available until much later in the game. These items can -only- be created by a tribal leatherworker, but the Bind on Equip ones can be bought, sold, traded, and given away. The items created with tribal leatherworking are primarily useful to druids in a caster role.

Today i went to try to learn tribal leatherworking.. but she did not give me and such quests at all. I don't know why, i'm 260 LW and i have the mats for the quest, but my only option was to learn recipes. maybe you no longer can use her? but have to use the one in outlands or something? i'm not sure, please help

How would I have known about the Tribal quests in Feathermoon without looking online? Is there a quest that sends leatherworkers there?

If you already are an elemental leatherworker and you want to become something different like tribal dont do the quest for the wild leather... complete waste of time... all you do is drop your current specialty go to tanaris 65, 18 read the book and pick your new specialty... you automatically learn in no quest involved..

I'm a lvl 40 dwarf hunter on alexstrasza which leatherworking should i go into tribal leatherworking? elemental leatherworking? or dragonscale leatherworking. i want to make things that would bring my skills up and my stats and be good for a hunter i don't want to go into something for rouge's or mages or anything like that i'd prefer to get them for a hunter thx

What no one has mentioned is that the actual Tribal Leather Trainer is in Thalanaar, just before you enter Feralas from Thousand Needles. Her name is Caryssia Moonhunter. The Elemental trainer is in Searing Gorge at Tanner Camp. The Dragonscale trainer is in Azshara in the Ruins of Eldarath.

Elemental=stamina, agility
Dragonscale=stamina, intellect
Tribal=stamina, intellect, spirit

All items are bind on pick up. These are not items you can make for sale.

I've done all the wildvine quests including the letter to darnasas then i went to caryssia in feralas to do the quest for tribal leather working and she don't even give me the quest idk what i need to do cuz i have read that u had to complete all the quests including the letter one and i did all that and the quest for tribal still isn't showing up. My leather working is at 341. please help! lol

So they provide us with recipes requiring (in my case) Tribal LEatherworking.
They leave in place the ENTIRE questline to get the specialization.
But then they take out the FINAL part!

So all the time/work/gold I've put into this - to make an awesome set of pants for my toon which the game so conveniently dropped on me - is compeltey useless? I can't make the pants, I don't even have the gear to seel that I had to make for the quests.... and I am screwed?

This freakin sucks.

- Just wanted to point out, that I was 2 days too late after patch 4.0.3a to turn in the quest. Feathermoon is now deserted. I can see the yellow questionmark, but sadly, the quest giver is not there. Gunna try & look around, but I am sure I am too late. Any ideas would be helpful. TY

K, I see now it was taken out of the game. Sooo glad I wasted my time, standing there, waiting for the turtle scale hand pattern to spawn. TY BLIZZ!
