I have to say that this is a VERY cool quest chain. Especially if you like following the lore and stories of the quests. The battle was really cool and then to see Redpath and his daughter reunite was super cool.

Pamela Redpath says: Daddy!

The full quest chain for The Battle of Darrowshire:

Villains and Heroes do both need to be completed in order to get Marauders. However, Defenders of Darrowshire (the Uncle Carlin chain) does not need to be completed in order to get to The Battle of Darrowshire.

I had some EXTREME luck with this quest. A level 80 horde was doing the quest so i sat by and watched him kill everything. When he had completed the quest i could just talk to Joseph's ghost myself, and thereby i also completed the quest. I could never have soloed it since im lvl 57 but thanks to this i could.

If you dont choose any reward (Ring of Protection, Archlight Talisman or Magebane Scion) and just click in accept you recieve ALL OF THEM!

Easily managed the first half as a lvl 58 retri pali but when i came to the second half i didnt stand a chance.

Once you finish the quest and pick up the final reward, stick around Pamela. If you wait a couple of minutes, you'll see Joseph Redpath's spirit show up and meet with Pamela. Very touching reuniting scene between father and daughter, both as spirits.

Seeing the ending when Joseph reunites with pamula, pretty sad and a good ending to a long battle like that

Whoever used to claim that WoW had no "endgame" feeling...try some of the longer quest chains such as this one, it really gives you the feeling that once you've finished it, you're not coming back, but you know that you helped those people,ghosts,undeads,dragons,etc. in finding peace one way or the other, it feels like it's the end of a chapter in the game, that is what i'd consider an endgame feeling.
I'm keeping the rewards for nostalgia, that's for damn sure, no one getting my Tea with Sugar.

This has been my favorite quest-chain for as long as I remember. I do it on every character I get above 50, and it gets me every time. This time I thought I would do something special; get Loremaster on my current character and finish it with this particular chain. I planned it out perfectly.

So here I am. A fresh Loremaster, enjoying the reunion with a nice cup of tea. Success.

This quest have been somewhat reduced now in patch 4.0.3a but it is also VERY bugged, though it'll probably be fixed once CATA truely comes out. BUT! On the positive side, I now have two "Tea with Sugar" one for Pamela and one for me.
Though I'm really happy I got to complete the old version, this newer one feels a bit tame if you compare.

idk why it says in red letters at the top of this that "This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed." That is not true. I received & completed this quest today 6/11/11.

This quest is not bugged anymore. Patch 6.2.4. I just completed the whole chain quest today.

"This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed." is wrong. I just completed this on my level 120 druid so it is live and working with BFA expansion.
