For a druid would this cancel the current form you are in or would you keep that form's stats?

I'm thinking bear druids would find this useful for mobility if they kept their tanking stats when this ability is activated. Otherwise, it would be nigh on useless for bears if it just worked like a second dash ability.

This Night Fae ability is very similar to a now defunct druid talent that was removed, 야수 탈주. The differences being that it has a longer cooldown, has a much longer movement speed increase, and a slightly shorter teleport. For druids, it was essentially "Druid Blink" and will likely serve a similar role for anyone who sides with this new faction, although also as a 전력 질주-like ability now too.

If anyone's looking to cancel this it shows up as a form. For rogues for example it's form 2, so /cancelform works.

You can figure out what form number it is for you by activating it and then doing /run print(GetShapeshiftForm())

영혼형상's 깜빡임 can be modified with Natural Impetus. By default, 깜빡임 moves you in the direction you are facing, where Natural Impetus allows you to move in the direction you are moving and can be learned or unlearned at will by speaking to Lady Muunn in the Heart of the Forest (/way 38,2, 24,8 ).

For hunters, this does not stack with Aspect of the Cheetah. Not a complaint at all, just an FYI to alternate them rather than attempting to use them together for a burst of super speed.

I put this in a macro:
/script print(string.format("Current speed: %d%%", GetUnitSpeed("player") / 7 * 100))

NOTE: you need to be moving for this to work. If you are just standing still, it will always return 0%. I temporarily put it on a key bind so I could press it while running.

Here are my speeds with different abilities:

Trailer Blazer (30%) + Pathfinding (12% as BM): 143%
+ Soulshape (only): 193%
+ Aspect of the Cheetah (only): 233% Initial, 174% Secondary
+ both Soulshape and Aspect: 233% Initial, 193% Secondary

So you can see it is just taking the higher of the two, rather than stacking them. Still really great as it gives you more uptime at a higher speed since you have two abilities to switch off.

A downside is that every hunter ability I have tried breaks soulshape, even dismissing or calling a pet. If you Aspect of the Turtle first, then soulshape (perhaps in a Battleground), you are good. However, if you soulshape then turtle, you will have your shell but no speed boost or fun animal shape.

Fun fact: if you use the Firebird's Challenge toy wings, it looks perfect on the Vulpin form but using it with raptor form, it's buggy and the raptor is wearing the wings on the side of his butt. So ridiculous lol

A macro to use Flicker while Soulshape is up and when not to use Aspect of the Cheetah:

If you use /Mountspecial while soulshaped you will sniff around and then pounce at the ground like an Arctic Fox looking for small rodents under deep snow.

The rest zone interaction only applies if you cast it while inside the rest zone; not if you walk into the rest zone afterwards. It seems that this gives you repeated blinks and faster movement indoors (+20% over even Wolf and Cat forms) -- it's almost as fast as a standard level 10 mount even before blinks! Next time you see someone spamming the blink around Oribos, watch how fast they're going!

Is the Teleport bugged? It should be 15m...in fact it is 2-3m?
oh dear..just realize the english tooltip....15 yards! In the german re-location it is converted to 15m which is far more length...

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet so.. I just found out that you can use Soulshape at the last second to prevent fall damage entirely. Assuming you have no other ability or toy to do that.

Compiling all the known Soulshapes, since no one is updating their comment. Here's a list of the all available Soulshapes and how to get them, if we know how. There are a bunch of new ones in 9.1.5, and I will update this as we know them.

Crittershapes are separated underneath the regular Soulshapes with a line.

Special:

Corgi Soul - Use /pet on 반짝이 walking around the Covenant Hall. There is NO QUEST for this. Simply talk to Choofa afterwards and you will have the option for Corgi.
Well-Fed Cat - Gather the 혼령의 먹이, located at 63.75, 61.69 in Revendreth. This has roughly a 60 minute respawn, and will despawn after 10 minutes, or after too many players interact with it. Then return to Heart of the Forest and go down to the Queen's Conservatory Portal. (To the right when you go down the ramp). You will see 마오 sitting on a chair behind the portal. Use /meow while targeting them to hear they are hungry. Use the Spectral Feed on them. Like the Corgi, there is no quest, you will have the option for Well-Fed Cat next time you return to Choofa.

Perhaps a silly question but all these alternate Soulshape forms you can find... is it all just cosmetic, choosing how your Soulshape will look?

Or are there different gameplay abilities that some of the different Soulshapes provide?

SoulShape + 마법 애완동물 거울 + 복실복실 털 = Squirrel Form XD

In fact, it looks like if you use any self-transforming item, the transformation form (죽이는 복장, etc.) overwrites SoulShape form while leaving you in SoulShape, retaining all the movement benefits, for hilarious* results.

Does blizzard know this spell is bugged? You can use it while silenced and it is a "nature" school spell. That seems like an accidental oversight. Does anyone know if you can use it while nature locked?

Is it me, or did they increase the uptime of this? On all my 3 Night Fae it now lasts 16 sec instead of 12. I only noticed because I used to get max 3 (extra) flickers per usage (outside a rest area, naturally) and now I got a whooping 4!

An interesting lesser known interaction with 영혼형상 is that during 리치의 혼 you're unable to use the ability, maybe due to the fact that Lichborne technically shapeshifts the death knight into an undead (or that the ability prevents polymorphs). Thought I would spread the word seeing as Night Fae DK is one of the least picked covenant / class combos!

Fun fact: If you have 달송곳니의 앞발 equipped, you can stay in Moonfang shape and still blink! BM Hunters can sport two 우두머리 유령발늑대 and bring out 달달이, and run with your own pack!
