I dug through the Legion! All quests done. I wanna dig in Jaina's past ^^ (Kul Tiras that is, should be nice marine lore).
70 reputations and growing! I don't mind a bit of grinding. I was not into gold making, so ignored getting recipes except for my main's profession - Alchemy. Which is not very lucrative. I look forward to collecting new pets - it is always fun!
Just two months ago I got into gold farming. And yesterday I reached 2m gold! This was my milestone. But for BfA I'll aim at the Reins of the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur. I spend at least 2 hours everyday in the AH now, and if I could I'd spend more. Gotta balance things with PVP'ing :)
Since WoS I run multiple characters and do transmutes daily. It is the easiest gold I had ever (play since vanilla). I do not like archeology but I'm achievement ho' pet is a nice bonus and can be sold.
Very glad that the recipes are coming back. I spend tons of gold on getting low drop recipes and I missed out on those. Now can finally be complete!
My main's exalted with almost everyone. I wish Blizzard would stop removing content though. It really sucks that just when you try to achieve something they cut it down.
I take about 2 hours a day flipping stuff on AH. In BFA I hope to spend more on crafting and selling the crafts. I hope I can get into beta to be more prepared for the hot things :)
It takes me about 5 hours a week to make gold. I mainly run M+ instead xD
My first milestone was to hit 1 millon. I achieved that after I leveled 5 characters to max level. Running gold follower missions on all of them is insane income! Now I aim to support my subscription. In BfA it would be nice to buy all the gold sinks like that 5m mount.
Long time ago I would farm each time I was not raiding. And that's the way I liked it! Playing the AH was second best thing to raiding. With LK dead my interest dropped. I stopped raiding but LFR later on. And now I just farm herbs/mine and play AH all day long ^^
It's tough to calculate how much time I spend on gold making. Maybe 20 minutes at the AH, three times a day. But most of my gold comes from mission on 6 characters. Also WQ's on them. I hope to contine with this in BfA, just as Garrisons are still a bit profitable.
I spend few mins here and there reposting ah. When you have enough items posted its starting to go way easier.
So I have recently started doing more work on gold making. I used to do a little bit before Legion but had taken a bit of a break till recently and want to get into making gold again. Currently just selling mats at the moment but I get the occasional pet sale or gear piece sale here and there. I want to work on crafting mounts for profit and get that done. Right now I am trying to finish up as much Class Hall missions for all my characters to get a good method going to grab the free gold, at least for the next month or so. Anything counts!
Time is money, but my time isn't that valuable. What I do is to check every maxed alt (7 currently) and do OH quests, and do some Argus rares if they give OR on every alt, then, I just keep leveling another alt. Currently I am leveling a horde mage to get the allied races achievement.
I 've did much digging during the Legion to get "This side up"and the mount from Highmountan. And with the last archaeology quest I got some key for a secret room in BRH. Archaeology is fun :)
The post from lipsi on reddit is a really good reference to go by once BfA hits. Knowing what made the largest amounts of gold for gold farmers in the current xpac is a really good indicator of what is going to make the most gold in the next xpac.
My most recent gold making milestone was getting back up to 1 million gold after spending a bunch on WoW tokens. It was mostly done passively as I played the game (order hall missions, cashing in bloods on alts, etc). I hope to start gold farming a bit more seriously in BFA... I'm eager to see how much I can make if I make it a focus.
As for the time for gold-making, it all depends on the fact that childhood is left behind, and free time with him, it is now much easier and more efficient to give real money than spend hours that are not. The whole farm of gold is reduced to one thing - rolled BOE in raid - sold, that's all.
Hi!thanks for this thread. Was really helpful ,because i got over my excuses that i don't have time to farm/make gold while enjoying the game and doing important things like gearing farming leggos etc.I will try to get used to it that i have to spend every minute of my gameplay useful and this page really helped me with this i think. Big thanks for the video link too, nice to have a visual proof and motivation. As for the giveaway, i really have to choose a main for bfa but i still dont know which class, beta would be a big help for me.Anyway , keep up the good work thanks for all! Meet on Azeroth!
