Currently having an issue with this quest. I have found the item Worldbreaker Cell Key but the quest has not progressed and I can't open the cage. When the key drops a quest pop-up notes 0/1. Abandoning and picking back up does not resolve the issue.

Saw this on another quest that was bugging out. Abandon any Artisan's supply quests (the profession ones). Once I did that, i was able to click on the cell and unlock it

Hey, I think it's the Artisan quests in your log. After finishing them or abandoning them the quest worked for me.

As a Rogue I was able to just use "Pick Lock" to open the cage instead of getting the key. Probably works with other lock picking methods as well.

For anyone wondering why they can't see this quest, you first need to start initial quests at an npc called "Ingot" at 39,48

I don't have anything useful to add. I just want to say that I think that it is really funny that we have to find something called "The Worldbreaker Key" to free this dragon from such a dingy cage.

Hi all

I present You Storyline The Shadow of His Wings. This Storyline is part of 깨어나는 해안의 여행자 which is criteria for 용의 섬의 현자.

Quests in order I done:

1a. - Quest start from 잉곳 39.47 48.33. Slay 12 세계파괴자 용족.
1b. 이교도의 의구심 - Go to 37.45 46.67 stand next to cage.
3. - Slay mobs until 세계파괴자 감방 열쇠 will drop then open cage.
4. 그의 날개의 그림자 - Fly inside cave 35.80 47.92 and slay 사이제노스 35.12 45.48 then fly back to 잉곳 39.47 48.33. after this quests storyline will finish.

This is incorrect.

Ingot at 39.49, 48.36 is the actual start of the questline.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE
I just read the quest and it said that 'getting the key off the guards was optional' and what I did?
Since I was an engineer, I just tried my 자물쇠 상인의 폭파꾸러미 on it... AND IT WORKED.

Maybe rogues can just 자물쇠 따기 it, Scribes use their 무덤 도굴 문서, Blacksmiths their crafted keys (even old ones might do, like 레이스트라이트 해골 열쇠, but DF I saw one made from Serevite), and etc.

I ran this quest while I had the Worldbreaker Membership debuff active (for farming magmotes in the Obsidian Citadel). Your membership debuff does not fall off while running around killing the worldbreaker mobs, and it is super nice to run around freely while the mobs are yellow instead of red / aggressive.

Killed the guard and he didn't drop the key for me, guess it's just one of many bugs on this quest. I'm waiting for him to respawn to see if he drops the key this time.

Took me three kills to get the key, the guard has about a 5min spawn timer.

I've gotten the key from killing anywhere from 5 - 15 flagged mobs
